I gotta agree with contradictory on this one bro. I had a 3g/wifi model but after a year of not actually using it I turn it in as damaged to Radio Shack and got a wifi only model and got another 2 year accidental warranty for the price I paid for the 3g vita last night. It's not worth it outside of watching YouTube on the go and making my girlfriend get naked for me during stat class. But with my phone being able to tether it was kinda pointless and expensive paying 2 bills lol.
@ Vitalogy
with tax in the stat of CT I paid about $260 for a new wifi model $249+6.125%. Its still cheaper then Europe but tax is not included in that $249 price tag. Thank God for Radioshack's protection plans though.
calm your tits down, nobody expected Blizzard to announce an exclusive. We where expecting a whole new experience or maybe even Diablo 2 free to play.
Diablo 2>>>>>> Biablo 3
fuck I never thought of it like that......
lol the wii U is still getting it rectum torn in multiplat performance compared to the 360 lol. It was stated to be only about 50% more powerful the current gen which doesn't translate to much seeing as how the GPU has to pick up the slack where that rehashed tri-core wii CPU fails at.
A midrange pc can hardly run battlefield 3 on high let alone Ultra. With console optimization I can see the PS4 running it on high though especially since it handles Unreal engine 4 like a ...
only 3x more powerful? LMAO! At that increase it still wouldn't be enough to run games native at 1080p and 60fps. The wii U's CPU architect is the exact same as the shitty Wii/gamecube just with 3 cores. Hell its sooo weak that the GPU has to offset many tasks to help aid with things like multitasking and staying on par with this gen.
At least with the PS4's current layout 1080p at 60fps will be doable. I think its safe to say the ps4 is atleast 6x more powerful....
Remote play kind of stomped all the hopes I had for the Wii U away. PS4+PS Vita is a must combo for serious gamers.
Lol not really. There are 70+ million ps3s out there and no ps4s. Even with BC its not going to affect the sales of any of the game sales. I don't imagine millions of ps4 purchases being with ps3 games lol. I do feel that thaey should do full BC atleast with ps2 and 2 though. Maybe full BC with ps3 if it doesn't drive sales up.
Well they'd run smooth if the weren't coded for the cell. If it wasn't for that BC would have been easy.
no he's bored....
lol you are extremely miss informed. In regards to GDDR vs DDR it doesn't matter. A computer will use GDDR ram in the same fashion as it would for DDR and vice versa. All a computer looks for is the temporary storage place to randomly access and could care less whether its DDR or GDDR. Ass for 128mb of GDDR5 ram for the video card....no, just no. 128mb of any kind of ram wouldn't even be enough to give you ps3 games running at 480p at 20fps lol. The vita uses 128vram but its max resol...
what's the other Next-gen consoles you speak of?
they aren't giving MS any edge this time around. Sony want's to show the consumer that the PS4 can do everything MS can do and better and "faster"
You litterally troll everything vita on this site its soo pathetic.
qHD is still HD. HD also isn't just video but Audio as well.
I like adding the HD remakes to my trophy collection along with nostalgia.
Will you take your un- educated, stupid comments elsewhere? Seriously you troll every Vita article lol. If The Vita can turn around big in Japan then that's really all that matters. But a price drop everywhere else will do wonders for Sony. THe 3DS was in the exact same boat back then as well.
@therealheisnberg
It currently cost about $159 to make a vita. At $150 they would lose huge bucks on vita. Even at the current price tag profit is minimal. You are sooo cheap and need to go somewhere with your low-ballin' self. If you want a vita that cheap try a second hand one through eBay or Craigslist. I want Sony to make money so the can afford to support their products, pay their employees, and stay in business. Just be happy with even a $30 price cut. But if they d...
Lol the back screen cost them almost nothing to make. The most expensive part of the vita is that beautiful OLED screen with gorilla glass tech. It cost a whooping $50 bucks per vita. The back touchh pad is a huge plus because there's no way the vita could be seen as a ps3/ps4 controller or game streamer without and l2/r2, l3/r3.
sales aren't that bad in the states. It's Japan where its on life support at.
