Especially with no Japanese launch yet.
@ Truefan1
Yep the PS4 is erasing any chance the X1 has to compete.
And lol you like to talk about hardware issues? The X1 has had even more issues then the PS4. A great deal if the PS4's problems stem from software related things like the bluray playback. Those same issues on MS's end are all hardware. Nice try though.
Sony giving MS that anal.
There is no need for that. The Vita has finally found success at home but its still gonna be an uphill battle. Remember the Vita is completing against the 3DS not the Wii U. But here's to hoping the Wii U turns things around. I'd rather it be Nintendo and Sony taking over the industry rather then MS and Sony.
Holidays are over, Japan is just waiting on the PS4 and big launches for all the consoles.
Lol and they said the US is the biggest market. No console hit 70k in the US.
@Irishguy
Point proven....
5 million>>>> 2 million. That's far less incentive to waste resources porting a game over to the console where nobody cares. It still cost money to port to a console especially one with different architecture. Then you gotta pay employees and you got pay to produce disk then eventually pay to ship out.
Actually you wouldn't be able to watch said cartoon a 3 frames a second.
@ABizzel
Agreed with everything except your hardware part. If nintendo was to release hardware like that say 5-7 years from now with those specs we'll be right back in the same boat come PS5/X2 launch. And I'm pretty sure if Wii U owners wanna get at least 5+ years out of the box before upgrading.
@Sharingan
Lol this is nothing like last gen where Sony developed new architect that no developer ever program for before. The design of both consoles are 1. Basically the exact same and 2. Are using modern PC setups. The main difference between the two is the PS4 design is more powerful from the ram to the APU and is faster and more efficient. No matter what MS does they will not be able to make up these set-in-stone difference until the next generation.
Yeah a yeah its been about a year since the 3DS XL came out. But even then a year of profit doesn't mean anything since that profit was used to help regain previous losses that went on a year prior. On top of that the majority of the 3DS install base was during that loss period when Nintendo cut the price of the 3DS. And lol easier said then done, while cutting the cost sounds easy its really not as simple to do with consoles as it is handhelds. Unless you want them to start removing feat...
What you have to realize is sales mean absolutely nothing if your losing money for each console sold. Nintendo didn't start making money off the 3DS until the 3DS XL model when they brought the cost to produce the system down. Nintendo just started making money off the 3DS good but are now losing money off their next gen machine which offsets those gains. The Wii U was already being sold at a loss at $350 but then they had to slash the price by $50 and they bundled games, its like the PS3...
Lol all fine and dandy until that HD crashes. I think offering both is the most realistic way to go about it.
Will *rise* not rose. Rose is past-tense Which is incorrect for what your trying to say.
That's true. But to fall below the PS3? That's rough.
This ^^
Lol the CPU doesn't do resolution, that's all GPU bud. And lol Nintendo never said that. Do you think Nintendo would be soo stupid and desperate to compete that that change up the specifications of the Wii U? Not only would changing the chip set cause them to have to completely redesign the the motherboard and box but it'd drive the cost back up to where they might as well just release a new console. Not to mention games that wouldn't run on older versions of the Wii U if they...
@TheYellowFlash
Can you please explain to me how XBL is better than PSN. I have yet to see how at all. And why would I spend $100 more for a feature that most devsarent incorporating? That's just plan silly. While there is no need to be a fanboy you dont have to be silly. In terms of gaming I have to say PS4 is definitely better but you are right about PC being the best.
Try both for yourself. PS4 is faster.
@Fireseed
Dual titan GPUs can barely do 4k at 30 fps. 2 $1k graphic cards can't do that. Sorry but 4k gaming is not now.
