Ehh one of the reasons I think the PS4 got a price cut now is because Sony has managed to greatly reduce manufacturer cost with the new 1200 model PS4s. They probably figured they'd continue selling the older models for $400 so they could still see a profit. Then once they completely stopped selling those older models they'd drop the price tag for the new PS4s. There really was no need to cut the price since the PS4 still won last month before the cut. Idk to this day I still haven't been more impressed by any other model this gen other then the sexy MGSV PS4 bundle I own. Not only does it look nice but there are many hardware changes as well. Actual buttons for the disc tray and power, it's significantly lighter, it's quieter, and according to Sony it's supposed to be 30-40% more power efficient due to them being able to reduce motherboard size. Like I wasn't even aware of how drastically different the new PS4 was.
I have the red and black MGSV PS4 and it's very very quiet. it's only makes a little noise when I stand the console upwards cause it took me that long to realize the PS4 had vents in the bottom.

@XBLSkull lol everything you said is hella wrong. First of all the X1 and PS4 have the exacy same CPU the X1 is just clocked higher. They both have 8 gigs of ram one just uses GDDR5 while the other uses ddr3. Theoretically the X1 can have more bandwidth but only at a 32mb cap at a time. PS4's bandwidth is way more practical.
why are these two even being compared? there is almost nothing to compare here.

Lmao so no game runs at 1080p 60fps? It has more the the X1. And it has more native 1080p games. I remember when the cloud was supposed to make the X1 have the power of 3 X1s yet Titanfall was 792p at an unlocked framerate.

Actually both consoles had 512 mb. PS3 just split it at 256mb for the Cell and 256mb for the RSX GPU.
