which is what most of the firmware related issues are then your drives not bricked there was just an error in the files you downloaded if You format your HD and reinstall the update or just wait till the next update comes out it will be fixed. It's not sonys fault its your ISP's or it could have been PSN too in which case it would have been kinda sonys fault. I always update via PC just to be safe.

thats why I said not necessarily a sale. obviously those without morals would still pirate games that they would otherwise buy if no other means of obtaining them were available to them but not everyone is like that and devs lose out on some sales from rentals because some games I would have bought had I not rented them first and decided it wasn't worth it. I'm sure others have done the same thing and thats one lost sale every time someone does that and they only get one sale from each rental...
oh ya how did I forget about the jungle climber games those were actually really good from a gameplay perspective but they should of just left the story out of them cause it was really really lame.

ya Microsoft can easily afford to settle out of court its basically there tactic for any case that garners to much bad publicity even if they had a chance of winning in court.

ya Piracy isn't necessarily loss of a sale because the people who pirated weren't necessarily going to buy it in the first place. used game sales and rentals probably hurt the Industry just as much or more because if you bought the game used you were a potential sale but none of that money gos to the devs so they actually lost a sale whereas if you pirated you wouldn't necessarily have bought it anyway had the option to pirate not been available.
you don't exactly have to worry about it Sakking Nintendo owns the donkey kong franchise plus I'm pretty sure they've wrecked it themselves anyway seeing as the last good DK was DK64

I think a lot of people always had headsets and just didn't speak cuase I played lots of games were no one said anything into the mic until I spoke and usually the only reason I'm speaking if I don't know others have mics is because I screwed up horribly.
I'd love a new 2D metroid now that there done with the prime series but I don't really know if I like the way Other M looks.It looks really over the top and not very metroidish I just can't picture melee combat in metroid and it doesn't have that all alone exploring an unknown planet vibe.
actually i think 2D games are harder than 3D for the most part in 3D you have a lot more space to dodge and you don't need to be nearly as precise...... or maybe I just suck at 2D mario :P but I honestly find the 3D ones a lot easier.
