buttons need to be used because we play games to do stuff we can't do in real life and gestures instead of buttons is just pointless.
I want 3d. 3d is impressive for games there's no real negative side to it I've been playing pc games with Nvidia 3d vision for a while and they look great. it may be unnecessary and not add anything to gameplay but it's still nice to have. better graphics are unnecessary too but people always want them so whats wrong with 3d?.
it's not so much the power but what the wii's graphics card is capable of for example on pc there's graphics cards that only support shader model 2.0 but are more powerful than some 3.0 cards however you still can't play games that require shader model 3.0 on the 2.0 cards even if it is more powerful
wow 1.6 billion fillrate that's huge it's over twice the psp's 8.

Its quite clear from the tech demos that it's significantly more powerful and that chip isn't even confirmed by ninty for the 3ds

I played WoW for awhile. WoWs not even good the reason people play it is because once you've put time and and money into it you feel like you have to keep playing so everything you've already put into it wasn't just a waste.

except we all knew rages concept years before borderlands was announced we also saw the screen shots and concept art
I,m saying there targeting the core gamer at launch specifically because they will buy at prices casuals will not, of course casual gamers will make up a large amount of sales but not at launch, they'll come later when the price lowers.
why do you think almost all of the launch games are core games? it's because they know that the early adopters and the ones willing to pay more are the hardcore gamers so there targeting them the most right now. the DsiXL launched at $200 so the 3DS will likely be at least that unfortunatly
ya as is it doesn't look as good as other first party wii games IMO. it looks like it would be possible on cube still but the art style is almost alright it would look better with some heavy okami style cell shading or a style like this game http://www.flickr.com/photo...

because there's different genres and different kind of games it's impossible to say that the best of one genre is the best of all games and even in one genre there's games that surpass each other in certain ways but each has points in their favor so theirs not even a best of a genre really.
it's never been a play-station exclusive franchise it's just that it's first big game appeared on PS and all the rest were on PlayStation platforms(except the remake)while the other platforms just got the odd game here and there so it's perceived as one.
it's just an annoying childish thing to do as it adds nothing to the conversation, nobody cares who's first and even if we did we can clearly see it without you stating it.
edit:but whys it matter if you are first to say it looks freaking awesome there's still absolutely no point to saying first.
