nope its not outdated, making a linear game with fantastic gameplay and story, is way better than force to make an open world with hardly things to fel that empty space, look at xenoblade x, copy and past everywhere.
yet you enjoy playing that repetitive open world game, with countless fetch quests, and that bayonetta game were all you do is dodge, slow time, keep slashing, dodge, slow time, keep slashing and repeat.

i did use that trick, everytime i finish 2/3 cases, i end up training new digimons to continue the main story, i already have 4 digimons ready to digivolve to 4 royale knights, just need to finish more chapters.
im 135 hours and still in chapter 7, getting all the digimon is addicting
i dont care about the others, but Metroid: Other M is the only Metroid i loved more than the other Metroid games
