Is it me or do those numbers have some major flaws.... PS3 at 16 million.... What is Activision living in 2008? Last I checked PS3 was at 24 million....

Dude I have played both and KZ2 is far from over rated.. I am not going to fight with you like a baby over which is more over rated, but KZ2 is the most intense FPS I have played this gen (includes COD4 and Halo as well).
And seriously Soda, why the hell do you guys give sales such an importance huh? KZ2 sells 2-3 million in it's entire lifetime, does that mean that there will be no KZ3.... I bet Sony is already planning KZ3 cause it's PS3's flagship FPS. Even the same with Infam...
How about a PS3 slim with a lower price (price cut)... That sounds the best deal to me. Also, throw in GT5 along with it and FF13 in Japan and see PS3 swipe the floor.....
Last year PS3 consistently outsold the 360 until 360 got a price cut later during holiday season and really picked up pace eventually outselling PS3 by a huge margin in the last 3 months enough to compensate for the 8 months lead PS3 had over the 360.... Why give sales so much importance.... Both game will be absolute blasts and possibly GOTYs... Uncharted 2 by far looks the best game this year... GOW3 is looking better than ever, also with the series ending, one can expect an EPIC adventure.... Sales wise GOW3 will win mainly cause of it being having 2 sequels and cause UC2 will come around MW2.

It's obvious Sony is seeking for a November or December release date. Even most multi-plat devs are acknowledging the fact that huge hitters like COD:MW2, Uncharted 2, GT5 and Halo are hitting this winter and hence are scurrying off to 2010. Even Sony is showing signs of moving MAG, Heavy Rain (which they already have) into 2010 to clear a path for GT5... Plus a PS3 price drop or Slim model would be a perfect bund...
Agreed above... I do agree with few points and the recent sales number do show PS3 sales aren't that lagging behind the 360, but why does this site have to sound so fanboyish? I know it's a PS site, but come on can't people just be a little unbiased in this industry where every remark is scrutinized? I am a PS3 fan, but that was unnecessary 360 bashing... And the article is wrong since at the end of Sony's fiscal 2008 cycle (which ends on March 2009), Sony reported 22.91 million console shipped. The PS3 hasn't been stagnant for the past 4 months... It must have at least sold a million if the numbers are to be believed... So expect that 8.5 to be somewhere around 7 million....

@Solotov... If Rage even looks half as good as Uncharted 2, I will give up my PS3... Just tell me one 360 exclusive that even comes close to Killzone 2 leave alone Uncharted 2.... Firstly, PS3 and the 360 has the same amount of RAM.... It's just that PS3 RAM is split in 2 half's whereas 360 has an intact one... Even the numbers posted by you are wrong.... Firstly, the PS3 was at 22.91 in March 2009 as per Sony... And they have sold more than 1.1 million after that, so that brings Sony's SOLD numbers to 24 million approx.... And M$ ALWAYS provides SHIPPED numbers... So that 32 million is the number of SHIPPED consoles by M$... I believe we had a debate about this just yesterday or the day before that....
In short, the 360's lead is around 7 million... And with the PS3 price cut+PS3 SLIM ...
