Now way this is cel-shading... The illumination shader might be changed to an cel-shading shader, but it just doesn't look right... Maybe the creator should have cel-shaded the textures as well... It just looks like the creator has used a bad tone mapping operator...
A game based on a movie that is based on an unexisting game - Epic!
Seems like they didn't want to call this news a "leak"... So they just called it a "wishlist"... Clever ;)
IGN already knows what of this stuff will be in the final game... So why should they make a "wishlist"...
Also most of their list is already leaked / confirmed... So it's most likely that the rest is true as well...
I've posted this news 2 days ago... And it failed...
They either wrote about me as a source, about my source which maybe has contact with CVG or they have a seperate source...
If they have a seperate source this rumor is totally true...
That rumor is coming from me... I have a source which can be trusted... My source was on the multiplayer event for Killzone 3 on March 13th... He even knew about the snow on March 8th...
If they have a seperate source than we have an even better chance to be right ^^
It might as well be a PSP title or DLC...
Please don't think that this rumor has no background... Following info was from the same source which he wrote on March 8th (I'm not allowed to name him, sry):
2 days ago I was able to play Killzone 3 behind closed doors in Amsterdam and have to say that it looks crazy.
The graphics are still based on the same engine as its predecessor, but was immensely improved.
While the playable areas of the second part of the series were pretty linear, we...
It will be awesome because I can play splitscreen with my friends...
Multiple sources now confirmed that it's legit... Also I was the person that wrote on March 8th that there will be snows levels, 3D support and Motion controller support... Also there will be jet packs and large open areas...
Can I create huge 3D graphics engines with the quality of Crysis 2 with LittleBigPlanet 2? If so, I would port my graphics engine to LBP2 xD
Isn't this trailer old as hell? I've seen this video at least 1 month ago....
Lol he even lies when telling us that everything is in realtime... In another video they said that they weren't able to render the some shadows in realtime so the light projects these shadows as a texture on the ground... Lol what a fail...
It's true... Naughty Dog stated themselves numerous times that their new game's production will start at the end of march... And since they also said numerous times that they would like to develop a fourth game in the Jak series, we can assume that it won't be a Jak game... So it will most likely be a successor to Uncharted 2...
Why do you guys blame geohot for this mess? He wanted to give us "Other OS 2.0"... What's so wrong about it? Why would anyone be against new features? And if you didn't want a Other OS 2.0, why do you even care? You probably don't use Linux anyway, when you don't want an improved version... So it would be no loss for you...
Also he wanted to bring backwards compatability back... And plz don't say we wouldn't want BC anyway...
!!!! AND NOW PLZ THUMB ME DOWN !!!!
They always said that they would improve the speed... But in fact they lowered it...
Or maybe the consumers won't have a reason to buy a Wii (HD) when the Motion Controllers come out....
It's still a post process. But it uses MSAA as a reference and applies that information via a bilateral filter weighted by the surrounding pixels. It's better than MLAA since it uses actual sub-pixel information, but needs more bandwidth.
