At least for Mario & DK series, it's due to the save points scattered around almost everywhere. Just look at SMB3! It's huge, and there are no save points. Then look at NSMB Wii. It's about the same size, but two save points are in every world! The value & difficulty of the game would have been much more if the save points were removed, imo.
As for GTA, I think it's doing fine; just a bit overrated, that's all.
Ya, but the Xbox 360 is selling even more than Wii since this E3, so who knows if PS3 will outsell it for another year? But I really hope it does, because I want Microsoft out of the console wars as soon as possible!
Chrono Trigger & FFvii, along with Pokemon Red/Blue and Gold/Silver are my favs... where are those? Did they mean Best HOME CONSOLE RPG Games of All Time, i wonder!?
Also where aren't Dragon Warrior 3 and FFiv included!!

But If i give my own personal opinion, (you can disagree all you want), Get Wii if you're also a PC gamer. Because most of the good games on PS360 are also on PC whereas almost all good Wii games are exclusives. If you're not a PC gamer, get PS3. And if ur a huge fan of Halo, get 360.

Pokémon games till Ruby/Sapphire were enjoyed by adults and kids alike. Since DP however, they have been really kiddy.
Then again, HG/SS were AWESOME!

Any fan of shooters will pick this up. Unless you're out of money from buying GOW3, RDR, SMG 2, MH Tri, SSFIV, Alan Wake, TvC or Mass Effect 2 :P
lot of good games this year, i must say!
DS is bound to see a price cut this year. Also, lets hope 3DS is cheaper than Wii!
