I'm looking forward to seeing what it's all about. Not sure if I'll buy it or not at launch due to all the crazy amount of games coming out next year. I'm gonna be so tired of gaming come next fall. We'll see though.
The problem is they are releasing this game and Halo shortly after. That's dumb because people are going to sub for a couple months and then unsub. Same as the summer, they lost subs because why sub for a whole year when you don't have to.

This type of mentality will go no where. It's all about the supply chain and the demand is still Pretty high for consoles. I guess we'll see, but I still think gamepass will peak for a couple months and then fizz out early next year once again. If you do it smart, you can sub for a dollar for one month and play both forza and halo. The sub number will go up, but will the profit?

That's why everytime a big chunk of ps5's sell the games like miles morales or ratchet and clank jump to number 1 or 2 in the NPD from like 8. That doesn't mean they sold any copies at all right?
Demons souls and dark souls 1-3 built up on each other to make an amazing game with DS 3. I'm assuming they are going to use a lot of the same mechanics and weapons/items.

@SourOG as someone who put at least 20k or more hours into demons souls ps3, remake, DS 1-3 and bloodborne I do agree a bit as in I actually disliked bloodbornes combat the most out of all of them. I liked the world and enemies, but hated the combat due to less variety. But as colt said, you do level up and part of getting better in those games is as you said, learning the AI patterns end dismantling them. As someone who got the switch day one but barely used it until recently. It's good and bad news. Good because I get more use out of it, but bad because who knows when they will try to upgrade it. I do hope they make something comparable to the steam deck as far as specs, but that's probably asking too much from Nintendo. I also really want a fully open world Pokémon game similar to arceus coming out in january. Idk, time will tell.

I really like and think the doll like animations work wonderfully for a souls type game. It just makes it look creepy and the bloodborne aestehtic makes me want to play it right now. The combat looks surprisingly good and the music should make this game intense. Looks like day one to me.
I only mentioned the RROD issue because a lot of the sales were from that. I had multiple friends that had several RROD. It does not mean the 360 was a bad Gen In terms of games, but the 360 had millions of extra sales due to the issue.

The rumor of a new switch was right this year being the OLED model. There's another rumor from the same source of a switch 2 next year.
Idk I feel like if the rumored switch 2 does come out next year, it might not actually surpass the ps4 numbers. Or it'll get very close at least. If it comes out in 2023 I think the switch will very easily overcome it though.
So many people bought several 360's due to RROD. plus they did get less sales overall and launched a year early.
@ colt I took my ps4 overseas with me when I was deployed and I was surprised how it still worked. It's crazy how much they have improved overt time.
Same with Bethesda.
