Are you with Virgin Media too?
Its the same with any piece of software, one slight differentiation in configuration can cause unexpected errors for 1 person, whereas another may never encounter any problems :)
This update actually improved the stability for me, have far less crashes now and also the XMB has sped back up for me, so I'm happy with it :)
I'm not implying these people are lying though, as I myself have had FW problems in the past that others didn't have (All video playback disabled was annoying as hell >:( )
I'm sure we'll see 4.41 at some point and then another article about others with problems, its just the way it goes.
"Like the developer who said "toy story graphics" regarding the alleged power of the PS2. "
You do realise that was Microsoft who said that about the original Xbox and not Sony?
If need be i'll even provide a link to the original quote (Again lol)
A comma would have helped, it should read
"No I remember GG stating that the ram for the os is boxed off, and it's a full 8 gigs available to devs"
Hope that helps :)
I'm currently attempting that before the servers close, damn is Gilda hard to come by, 70 hours in and only 250,000 :/ Though I'm almost GR9 :)
I think Lego Lord Of The Rings at least deserves an honourable mention
Trophy - One does not simply...
Earned - Walk into Mordor.
Made me laugh :)
"but with the no used games crap the PS4 and next Xbox are using"
Didn't Jack Tretton already confirm that the PS4 wont block used games?
as for MS, its rumoured that they will be blocking them, but until MS announce it its still just a rumour.
I'll be avoiding DIR for a while, after the glitch fest that DI was (I brought it after all the patches) I'll wait for others to confirm the game works before buying it :)
It amassed the hate due to lazy devs. Most UE3 games look the same, with shiny characters and bad texture pop in. However not all, when devs actually put the effort in you get games like Bioshock, Arkham Asylum etc which are far above and beyond what other games using the UE3 are like.
IMO the hate is misdirected, yes the games are using UE3, but its up to the devs to improve on what they have.
Mob Of The Dead sounds good :)
I disagree, I believe it will be EA :D
I also keep my consoles unplugged till I use them (I miss the old power switch off the PHAT PS3), I've had to replace 3 PS3 slims PSU's for other people that always had them plugged in, so I ain't taking that risk :)
Mine came with freeview, so yes it did come with extra channels :)
I do believe the comment of
“Right now, this is the best-looking Deus Ex,” Pedneault said. “It's even sharper than the PC version.”
Will regret being said, I'm sure when its released somebody is going to do a comparison with a High End PC and prove that statement wrong.
Oh well, the game is still great regardless of how it looks :)
"Anyone remembers, this game was a flop"
Metacritic for the game is 90 for PC and 89 for PS3/XBOX
also
"Deus Ex: Human Revolution sold 2.18 million copies between launch and 30th September, publisher Square Enix has revealed in its bi-annual financial report."

No unfortunately, apparently its due to 'technical reasons' (i.e more capcom BS), so if you want the DLC you have to buy the Dark Arisen disc.
Online passes
There is one part of DS I would definitely define as unfair, that god damn pure bladestone. 2 Years I've been on/off farming that thing and still have yet to see it >:(
"Yes the bandwidth of uploading these videos could be costly."
The only confirmed place for video uploads is facebook at the minute (That was the only one mentioned in the show), and due to the video being processed on the PS4 the only bandwith involved with uploading would be my own (that I pay for anyway), so I don't see how this could be costly to anyone? Unless they have capped limits
