This is because they are going to announce more games for 2018. In an interview they said they are going to announce more late 2018 titles at an appropriate time. More games the better! I love my Switch!

I think what he is trying to say is they didn’t put much effort into porting the game. That would be correct there are much more visually demanding games on the switch that run at 1080p 60fps. Also this only runs at 720p 30fps.

Nintendo has already stated there are more big exclusives and third party games going to be announced later this year. Nintendo's format has always been different than everybody else at e3. Nintendo has gone further away each year from e3 they mainly just have tons of directs throughout the year. Last year there was like 5 different directs after e3.
I thought they did well. Smash isn't rehashed so you have no idea what you are talking about. It was built from the ground up on Switch hardware. Just because they included every fighter they have ever had doesn't mean its rehashed lol which is awesome by the way.
This game is way better suited for a handheld in my opinion. I think the Switch is where it will shine the most.
We also got two new pokemon games..... a new mario party, a new IP, a new fire emblem and some other goodies. Nintendo said going into this they were only focusing on 2018 through early 2019 products. They said they haven't stopped working on any of the other titles which are coming and there are a lot! Also I didn't hear anyone talking about a new spin off zelda.
