As did I. I'm a sucker for Steam sales.
My eyes just came. I don't think my 4870X2 will be up to the challenge. I'm hoping nVidia's Kepler GTX 600 series will be released in time (or shortly after) for this game. I'm going to be building a new rig 4th qtr 2010 or 1st qtr 2011.

And that's fine. Mac's are overpriced, but are simpler to use and sleek looking. I just hate it when people are ignorant and believe that Macs can do all these things that a PC can't.
How? You may like overpaying for the look and feel of the Mac OS but what can it do that you can't do with Windows?
lolz
They've been offering it since November. This is not new.
Oh wirklich?
So far I think the beta is awesome. But I keep on getting connection issues (error 20002) and have only been able to play with bots. I preordered the game and can't wait. Hopefully they'll have the connection issue fixed by then.
@FatOldMan
I believe that Brink is running on id Tech 4 and Rage is on Tech 5.
I'm very pumped about this game. I'm timing the build of my next rig to coincide with the release of this game.
I never understand why they do this. No matter what DRM they implement in the game, it's going to be cracked. Maybe it's to show their "uneducated" shareholders that they are taking steps to "prevent" piracy via their 10-K.
I'm mainly a PC gamer and I've never pirated a game. But dammit, these publishers are making it harder and harder to justify purchasing games.
All this does is delay the pirating of the games by a few d...
You don't even need 6 gigs of ram to run Crysis on max settings.
I agree with the fact that the pc version is superior. But Ford has actually made a major turnaround and it is ranked as the highest quality non-luxury brand according to JD Power reports (higher than Toyota, Honda, etc.)
How do you disagree with facts?
They may add it at the last second. I believe they didn't add the $10 or $20 discount for LittleBigPlanet 2until a few days before the game went on sale.
Doom 4 has been announced for a while now. John Carmack said that the development time for Doom 4 will be significantly shorter than the development time for Rage.
The platforms have been known for almost the last half year.
Maybe because people want to make sure it will run on their rig properly before investing in the game.
Not really if he ends up buying the software. If anything, a demo should be on the pc first to ensure that everyone can run the game properly before actually purchasing it.
Is it really less power hungry? My 4870x2 was struggling on max settings for the multiplayer demo around 20 fps when I could run Crysis on max settings around 30-35. Also, the graphics looked great, but it didn't look that great.
