Maybe its because my damn left stick is always going forward on all 4 of my controllers, damn you cod4. Teh d-pad is 10x better though.

Sony's biggest mistake with home was releasing the beta to the public too early. Many people were left with a bad taste in their mouth and may just avoid going back. I haven;t evened updated but if I continue to hear good things, I may check it out.

One thing your forgetting though, is that sales are whats needed.
KZ2 cost quite a bit to make, it costs money to continue running the servers, it costs money to update the websites, update the game. GG is seemingly still putting a lot of effort into this game.

Killzone 2 for me has been the most overrated game. It felt more like a chore to level up and no I'm not a noob who couldn't get the controls under my belt. I just dont find it fun, its a slow paced game, not enough action for my style of FPS.
MW2 will trounce KZ2 in sales, online play and just all out fun

Broadband overhauls are getting underway in the US, with billions of dollars from Obama. The ability to stream huge amounts of data is growing every yr and its only a certain amount of time before thats the way software is distributed.
Microsoft already does it this way on their digital locker programs (dont even have to store the game on your HD), Onlive has made a push for this market, sony allows full games to be downloaded. IT WILL HAPPEN.

There are way too many great titles to not own some machine that can play ps2 classics.
Personally I would want a ps3 with bc (which I do have), over buying a new ps2, but for thanks to sony getting rid of backwards compatibility for the ps3; buying a ps2 is the next best thing.
