I could use a game engine from 1999 and make a pax man. But I could make it so enefficient that the ps5 couldn't run it. You obviously have no knowledge on how this stuff works
And btw older engines are ussually less efficient. So yea using an older engine would probably be worst on performance than a newer one

So for you to be day one games the graphics need to be the best of the industry. You are really limiting yourself as a gamer. Fallout 4 is going to awsome because of the story, the amazing game design and characters. And all the quirky stuff fallout is known for like the 50s/ futuristic atmosphere.
The models may be last gen. Not like that's bad. I don't really need games looking better. PS3 was the graphic generation. Games aren't going to be looking much better. What we will get though as the trailer showed is better weather, lightning, sand looked a lot better than any fallout, lots of foliage even if dead.

Graphics aren't everything. We're getting to the point where better graphics is no longer a hardware restraint but a time restraint. Just look at the order, 2-3 years in development just for some pretty models. The more detail the more time. So yea no one should ever expect the leap of graphics from ps2 to PS3 to ever happen again. Even if it was hardware possible, time possible it won't be.

dragon age does have feel. the combat is the replication of your more classic strategey rpgs such as diablo it even has a strategy view. You even had a party, which means that could be used in a future dragon age game as an online coop experience.

Doesn't mean it sounds like a 2004 game doesn't mean it should be sold at 3 dollars. Now I don't know what this game is so I won't speak for it. But for instance of someone where to create wow(2004 game) it would take millions and millions of dollars to produce.
