It's one of the few 3D final fantasy that I have never played and from what I heard it has old school combat and story, which I like :P

MGS4 is a game in which you have to persist playing.
Stealth mechanics are much like adquired taste, at the beggining they are frustating yes, but I promise you that by the end of MGS4 you will be thinking "damn, this is one the best games I've ever played, holy sh!t". Believe the hype.
As for my list it would be something like this :D
1- Zelda Ocarina of Time
2. MGS4
3. God of War Trilogy
4. Super Mario World ...
well indeed I hadn't seen so much quality concentrated in a console (PS3) since a looong time ago, I mean UC2, GOW3, LBP and MGS4 (the best in my opinion) are all f!cking awesome.
But you can never say "best game of all time", since, for example, for me, it will always be Zelda Ocarina of Time... it's probably also because we relate memories of when we played those games, in my case it was when I was a happy kid with no worries :P
For other ppl it will be F...
I hope they fix the broken auto target system... in Challenges of the Exile this becomes more aparent, the f!cking game will ignore the direction I'm facing and grab whatever enemy is nearer to Kratos.
So I end grab grabing a minotaur who can't be grabbed and pwning me in the face

I'm sick of ppl saying GOW is a button masher... go play it in a higher diffciulty than normal, that's when you truly experience GOW
Take a look at this, the ones who played Titan mode in GOWII will probaly recognize him.... Shinobier the best GOW player in the world.
For example in this video he's doing a no-upgrade run in CHAOS mode, and I promise ya, you need lots of skill, patience, timing and absolutely no button mashing ofc ;)

Personally I even think that GOWII on Titan mode (very hard) was more insane that Ninja Gaiden in its highest difficulty.

well as much as I like GOW III your coment is retarded, because graphics are based on the console in which is on.
So for a Wii title it looks good (if not all DS games would get like 0,5 in graphics compared to PS3 of course)

the best thing Gamespot has always had is the reviews.
Their scores are incredibly accurate... I even decide if I'm going to like a game by GS score instead of Metacritics :D

It's obvious that SOny will eventually win the console war. Everything is like a PS2 "deja vu":
High starting price, loads of criticism, weak initial game lineup.... and then bam, awesome exclusive after awesome exclusive, best game collection and variety by far, numerous first party studios, Slim + lower price, and of course, God of War III and Gran Turismo 5
Seeing that although they started a year later they are already catching up (and 7 years left for the cic...

Yeah, I know, ppl here only care about NPD and the UK. They are indeed big markets, but what many ppl don't realize is that PS3 has vastly dominated the rest of Europe since its launch.
In Spain, where I live, it's the same... PS3 outsells the 360 around 3:1 probably :D
