It actually makes a lot of sense.
Apple has been trying to break into the living room for years --> Apple TV, without much success. I think they see what Microsoft is doing with LIVE and the downloadable movies, TV shows etc... If they put the iTunes store on an HD/BluRay console that interfaces with people's iphones / ipods it would really bring their whole strategy together. They're in your car, in your pocket, on your computer and in your living room. The app store is alre...

I'll wait and see...
I'll wait for the next Nintendo home console before I'll abandon them. I've always been a huge Nintendo fan and some of the best gaming ever was to be had on their consoles. I waited in line overnight for a Wii on the realease day. It entertained me for a couple of months, but then I started to get restless. I had never owned a console that wasn't made by Nintendo. I even stuck with them on the Gamecube. This time was different though, the software didn't impress me...
Until Haze you could do no wrong in my eyes. I was greatly looking forward to the next Time Splitters.
states that this game has been handed off to Rebelllion, the house that brought us the PSP battlefront game. So yeah, maybe we'll get to play it someday after all.
already powers the iphone. You fail as my final answer. ;-)
But seriously, I can see apple doing this. They've been trying to break into the living room for years with failed iterations of the Apple TV. I think they see what Microsoft is done with fair success in getting hardware into people's living rooms and have taken note.
It made me feel like a freaking action hero. Nothing like running towards an enemy, wallrunning, jumping off the wall and kicking the enemy, spinning them 180° making for an easy disarm, running up to the next cop and performing a frontal disarm - grabbing his gun as he swings it at you, giving him a good karate chop to the chest and flipping him to the floor unconscious, then running and jumping down a flight of stairs, landing on a cop below, one foot on each shoulder, smashing his hea...
If you haven't played this game, do so. Play it on hard, using no guns. Once you really get the hang of Faith's move-set and hand-to-hand combat, the game is a blast. I had more fun playing this than most of the other big name titles that came out this season. Seriously, give it a chance, you might be really happy you did. Peace out everybody, happy gaming!

I have a DS and I love GTA, but for some reason I'm suspicious of this title. I hope they make another PSP game.
Raw?
play it on hard without using guns. once you get good at the different disarm/disable moves, it's really quite cool. i loved it anyway, it's too bad more people weren't inspired by its originality.
They don't look the same. 360 looks better. With default settings no less.
I'm not saying it matters. You won't notice your lesser textures in the heat of battle. I just find it amusing and contradictory when the Sony Defense Force springs into action with excuses as to why their superior machine once again can't match the 360. All you have are excuses. Just to save you the time, I'll tell myself to "wait until next year" to see what the ps3 is really capable of.

I'm looking forward to this feature just to not hear my dvd drive anymore. That sucker gets loud. The faster loading is just icing on the cake for me. But I have a 120GB HDD and I can see how the 20 gig owners wouldn't be too thrilled by this.
If I had a 20 gig and there was enough room, I would still install my "main" game at the time. Just so I can finally game in silence. Actually, if I had a 20 gig, I would mow lawns or shovel snow off driveways or do back-alley ill...
you made me laugh
carry on
I'm in the beta and I wouldn't say that it's better that COD4. It's good, no doubt, I like it - but COD4 still feels and plays better. I feel like the animations aren't as convincing in WaW - I don't know, it just feels less polished, more like a video game. My suspension of disbelief was higher in COD4.
I will still buy it, and the co-op will be rad no doubt. But I'm pretty sure after a month or two my buddies and I will be back playing COD4. And Gears2.
...not according to some of the posts I read here!
