No the PS2 price cut is for everywhere else except the UK....
I wouldn't Say ..there are certain games that are gauranteed to sell well in certain markets..
Gundam games sells best in Japan
Madden and FPS sells well in NA
Soccer and Sim Racers sells well in EU..
Demon Souls , Yakuza 3 , WKC , MGS4 are proof that great games sell well in Japan also..
Sony should have acquired them can you imagine a Rogue Squadron game on the PS3.. :)
you think to yourself why didn't you play this cool game made by awesome devs... hmmm :)
and I dont know why people think that Lair was the reason for Factor 5 Downfall .. Sony funded development for the game ....
I have a feeling you have never played Lair while the game wasn't perfect as no game is , the gameplay was not broken contrary to what reviewers stated , sometimes people just dont like to try new things and thats what happened with Lair and it's Motion controls , had Sony given Factor 5 6 more months to polish up Lair the game would have been great not good.
Well i'll rather have Uncharted 2 over a Jak PS3 game , im a huge Jak fan also but Uncharted 2 is looking f-ing amazing
Of Course there are 360 FF fans , but how many ppl bought there PS3 in mind to play FF13 .... ???
obviously what he means is that Sony planned on losing a buttload of money on the PS3 from day one , but they are breaking even faster than they had planned...
I really recommend picking up the show fantastic sports game , im not a huge Baseball fan either but after playing MLB 08 last year at a friends place I went out and bought and this year's version is by far the best one yet...
as for Infamous day one buy ..enough said :)
Considering BR adoption rate is way faster than that of DVD back in the day I think it's holding it's own ... and as you said PS3 has already played it's part in solidifying BR as the HD Format king , but there lots of way to get BR movies for cheap , Amazon for one has really good offers..
Edit: someone beat me to it :)
The Thing about Blu Ray unlike DVD is that it's way more expandable where as DVD's maxed out at 9GB , Blu Ray can keep expanding it storage capacity and most BR players will only need firmware updates...
so if another format comes out they'll have to have something that BR can't do...good to them with that...
as we can see SE has falling in the technology area also so maybe they think they are utilizing the PS3 full power , based on there crappy Crystal Engine ..... because so far im really not impressed with what I have seen of FF13...plz to prove me wrong
or maybe they are doing damage control form now so ppl wont be disappointed by what they see in the demo so they are saying the final product will be X better...
Do we even need Crysis on Consoles ? I played it on PC it wasn't that great of game it was good but not great , really good graphics but it was really nothing spectacular...
Of course M$ showed up , but the security at the front searched them and found stolen Exclusives on them hence they were detained.. :)
thats what they get for not making San Andres Stories for the PSP ..lol
just kiddin im really bummed people aren't actually buying this is actually a pretty good game I been playing it for a few days now and I will say im actually enjoying it more than GTA4 and I like the artstyle of it and it's hilarious at times :)
now can we get San Andreas Stories for the PSP... guaranteed million seller.
It's definetly worth a buy if you can find it , it's made my the awesome gaming studio Clover b4 they were closed by Capcom...
The gameplay overall is like old school beat em up , with some really cool combos and hilarious enemies , the story is sorta weak , but the gameplay and length of the game makes up for it , it's about 10hr on your 1st play through.
Sony own the IP rights to the Gran Turismo Franchise so there';s not even a chance of this going Multi-plat...
Sony is smart enough to actually own the rights to the games they publish and not just sign some contract and fund development :)
Clock Blockers would have totally been a great name.....lol..
actually Sony stopped production on the PS1 in 2001 Because the PS1 was still outselling the PS2 for awhile and they wanted PS1 TO PS2 migration to speed up but 3rd party devs continued to support the PS1 for many years after though
If im not mistaken didn't Mistwalker sign a 3 or 5 game deal with M$ ??
either way Lost Odyssey is so far my fave RPG on the 360 pretty good game
