Hearing "Origin" really does make me cringe, nowadays. I mean... Ultima, Privateer, System Shock. Great titles. And now, this.
Although AoC was a poopoo game, I didn't mind Anarchy Online so much. I mean, honestly, so much of it really wasn't a great game, but I simply have fond memories attached to it.
Ooo, interesting stuff. Wonder if it'll hold water? Either way, I'm sure it'll end in a settlement that we'll never hear about.
Adding to AndrewNino's point: Terraria, and of course Minecraft. Both had incredibly tiny budgets to begin with. Now I'll bet we're going to see Terraria hit a million sales within the next few months.

Agree with Ares- they need at least two E3s in order to get this thing up and going. At best, they would have some tech demos to show off next year. Their main software competitor is also the 360, which Microsoft has quite explicitly stated will remain their primary console for at least a few years from now.
But, who knows?
Well, I haven't tried DNF yet, so this might be a good opportunity to do that. Even if it's not as awesome as a decade and a half dev cycle should make it.
