"Hacking" the PS3 and telling everyone about it and releasing a bunch of stuff to the public isn't helping Sony out. Helping them out would've been hacking the PS3 and then keeping all of the info to yourself as you pass it on to Sony. Embracing a hacker like Geohot would be like giving a thief a job at a bank that he stole money from before.
Price that matches the 3DS and a lot of games that AREN'T ports or multiplatform games (since multiplatform games would be better on PS3 anyways compared to the NGP).

They'll have to make more than 1 game to change anything and even then it won't change anything as PS3 will still be for hardcore games/gamers, Wii will still be for Nintendo classic franchises + old people; carnival games, and the 360 will still be for people who want to pay more for less, prepubescent kids, and Kinect shovelware.
