To be honest, i think sony have done quiet well for how things played out for them, least not forget not many people could afford the ps3 for quiet a while,the psn hack lost them alot too,plus selling console at a loss, and the fact the 3rd party games continue to be represented better on the 360 then the ps3 despite everyone knowing the ps3 can out do the xbox where many of the games have failed to shine on the ps3

That's fair enough, but i honestly think sony has a competitor for Nintendos big games and most the time PERSONALLY sony come out on top.

Different people go through different things simply really i prefer the ps3 to all current gen consoles and i will say it 1000 times proudly.
but that does not change the fact the ps3 broke on ME more times then the xbox did...the failures i have do not account for the failures of the hole console gen so those statistic can and have been turned on there head in my personal experience
Yes thats one thing i have been thinking about, i played the N64 all the way up until 2006 and the only reason i dont play it no more was cause i didnt take it when i moved out, if i could of i would of lol.
I've gone through 5Ps3s and 2 xbox360's and i don't see any of them lasting the span the n64 lasted me which is a shame the ps3 has some classic games, but im not going to keep buying old ps3's which will break when sony pack them in
except on the forums and i dont see anyone talking about the next consoles, and to be honest i honestly think the xbox is the console with the most consumer loyalty out of the 2...i come to this conclusion as a single player gamer preference who sees absolutely no reason for people to own a 360 bar the witcher 2 and alan wake and a few online modes in games like forza and halo 3
Nintendo has become really ignorant if you ask me, they refuse to accept the people who have made them big way back have grown up now and are more capable, so is tech and the people know this...now im not saying none of us like nintendos new games far from as even i like them...but outside of mario and the gang they dont give a ish but we the fans do! so now they are digging themself a hole
I actually think it's the downgrades of each newer console that saved the ps3 rather then the firmware updates, strange that the ps3 now is much less capable then the ps3 which released. but we know why they did it.

As the console maker yes, why would anyone have an incentive to buy your console if EVERYTHING it has is available else where?
A lot of the games i prefer are actually exclusives.

Personally I think, If killzone which I think is better then halo cannot better halo in numbers it was even more unlikely Resistance that only came out this gen would of.
Also things like Halo has a better online and story but resistance I think has better story telling.The story Is just not that great lol
The Dreamcast was so ahead of It's time. The 2nd Xbox console had a pad that was pretty damn similiar to It. and It took the xbox 360 pretty much a decade to let everyone access a web browser like the dreamcast did

heck raymen orgins,minecraft,trine 2 etc these games are way more fun then these big budget games
If It takes me 30 hours to start enjoying a game I'd rather not play it unless someone else is willing to get to the 30 hour mark for me gaming is a hobby i find it fun i don't find fun sitting their for over a day worth in hours doing something that is boring
