For me its all about the PS4 / Vita companionship, The sheer thought of playing next gen games on my vita via remote play has me salavating! its the absolute key reason I still own a Vita ... I think this incentive will provide a massive boost for vita hardware sales around ps4 launch time and as a result its likely to gain more developers interest in making more games for it.

Yes, sharper cleaner textures but the brickwork, Tiles & woodwork have lost that certain 'rustic' aged look and are now almost to clean, straight and clinical!

A few other people have pointed out this probably wont be for pirate games anyway ..I mean the average joe isnt going to start buying blu-ray burners & discs then start downloading 30g files for a single game! no no Im looking forward to real user created content such as emulators, codecs , user created programs , pirate ps2 & ps1 games and compatability.

It doesnt matter if its used or new ...the fact still remains that I can goto gamestation and buy COD2 for £5, MS are well aware of this .. you cant totally ignore the 'used' market, although i didnt expect pricing to be in line with used prices I didnt expect it to be so off either.
£10 I could have lived with, but £20 for a virtual copy of COD2 is a complete and utter piss take !

it does indeed look to be the future, However I think the basic 'content' would take a long, long long time to be on par with the retail power of 'buying' your own games seen as this system depends 100% on games publisher support & content provided.
I would imagine if its subscription based, Its going to be classic & budget titles available at first. unless of course there is a 'hire' service for new titles for say a time based fee which I assume there will be, its almost...
Well I own both PS3 & 360 systems, I really wanted an excuse to buy another game for the PS3 to make it seem worthwhile having one (apart from it being a fancy bluray player).
But in all Honesty blur or no blur it looks slightly better on 360, ...so I guess thats another one for xbox :)

FirstKnight, thats becuase video games are much more available to kids than 18 rated movies. Infact some Parents buy these kind of games for their kids without even realizing the level of gore in them.

Not a chance in hell this will happen in October, Rockstar have already made this clear once already and it looks as though they are gonna have to do it again becuase some idiot at PS3 uk isnt up to date with things, which lets face it anyone who is a regular at the uk site knows this has happened many times before.
And as for the PS3 getting it first ..... LMAO! and thats coming from a ps3 owner.
For me it needs to appeal to the older audience, at the moment it feels like a fancy kids toy churning out mario & crazy japan fluffy animal stroking games :), no-one over the age of 12 is really going to be interested unless they do so.
