that microsoft took less royalties from the game if it had an on-line multi-player, hence the charge! i know that was the case from the original xbox anyway.

oh i played braid....for 5mins then deleted it. hmmm...a puzzle game trapped in a platformer. yeah searching for pieces of a jig-saw puzzle in a game that smacks of donkey kong and mario. i'm sorry if your a 360 fanboy and this hurts to read, but i thought braid was crap! and wouldn't pay 400 credits for it let alon 1200.

you've missed nothing by not having braid. sort of like a remake of the "old donky kong" crossed with mario bros 1 on the nes... yeah i know those games spark nostalgia, but they aint great compared to nowadays games. it may have been good back in the day, but not everything ages like a chateauneuf!!!

it encourages the worst bottom feeding fanboys on the net. the open zone should be closed, and fanboys trolling "the enemy" news sections should be banned straight away!

anyway, first day purchase for me. great game. i like it when the music starts pumping, and you're zipping around slaying enemies. throw in co-op, and i know this is gonna be another great. imo, an excellent trilogy in the making.
by 2011 i hope to have the next xbox sitting under my HD tv...a long with nintendos new console.
just going by some of the things said on here, it must really hurt sony fanboys to see the 360 doing so well, and their beloved ps3 doing not even half of what the other playstations have done. considering the size of the install base and the size of the brand, the ps3 is a shadow of the ps1 & ps2.

after reading all the comments on here, i didn't realise that over 90% of n4g's members were developers with an intimate knowledge of both consoles. i feel slightly humbled to be in the presence of such learned scholars....and there was me thinking that that the biggest determining factor was the hardware iself, not the storage medium. it just shows you that if ever you need to learn something, just check out the n4g coments section to know what the people "in the know" have to say....
