i didnt play the old socom games so i dont know what standards were set back then. but i think 4 is solid. the sharpshooter is fun as hell with it and its just a different way to play a game. after playin the beta i knew it wouldnt be the greatest. but ive already preordered and 7/10 not a bad game by any means. patch it and make it better over time i guess

well i guess if it works on the xbox it will work on the ps3. i dont know if it is easier for them to develope like that, but i did read a while back ps3 was the lead console at the moment. if the ps3 has move and sharpshooter support then im game for the ps3 version. if not then the 360 i guess

who's to say that the 3ds will dominate. i think the ngp is its own beast. and i know id rather have the ngp as well as everyone else that post in these articles on n4g. so there is definetly a market for the ngp. it doesnt bother me that more people willl own a 3ds, why in the hell should i care? are people affraid itll come to a point where sony will drop the ngp if the 3ds sells better? hell nah this thing will be around a long time with plenty of software
itll be a cool game when it is released. im mostly lookin forward to the campaign with the sharpshooter though. mp is alright i guess im just not crazy bout the maps in the beta
i had the psp the week it was released and i sold it after a month. the games sucked and over the years only a few games were decent. ngp has everything it needs to suceed. it will have good games and great ports. sony has it made this go around. day one preordered.

if it had a high framerate then i would accept visuals like this on the ngp. but we have seen better so far.
