Not really, i have an hdmi cable that i got for like $21 and it works flawlessly compared to ones that are $50 or more. If you ask me it depends more on the tv that you have, sh*tty tv, sh*tty picture. Just make sure that the hdmi cable isn't damaged or snipped or the plastic that protects the wires isn't torn off.

Hdmi for sure, easier to connect, more options available and it looks better and it brings out the best out of the ps3 like others have stated.
Everyone should def. give this game a twirl. Its the first ps3 game where up to four people can join in and play on the fly. I will be getting two rumble controllers and prob this game for some multi madness fun... they did make goldeneye which was loads of fun back in the day and the story for haze seems interesting, cant wait to give this game a try hopefully its fun and has smooth gameplay.

Did sony forget, there is a section on how to install a new flippin harddrive in there manual for the ps3. Why make a new console just so it will have a bigger harddrive? thats crazy if ya ask me, i have the 60gig and its fine, i got music, videos, ps1 games, and demos on that sucker, and i still have 19 gigs left. The 80gig is fine if you ask me. Just change the controllers with dualshock3 instead os sixaxis with the 80gig and 40gig package and mybe add a game.
I remember the golden gun one shot bam your dead haha oh and the proximity mines where you could plant them on other people. This game def. needs to be available, it was really fun.

giovonni i see your point bro. I like the story for mgs games just like you like the story for splinter cell games. At least give mgs4 a twirl and see if you like it when it comes out. If another splinter cell game does come out for the ps3 i sure as hell would give it a try unless my cousin gets it for his 360.

What metal gear has always lacked was online play. Now that metal gear solid 4 is going to have online play... i could seriously say that mgs4 has everything in one package. A great solid story like the counterparts before & now online is introduced to a new, greater depth unlike before in other mgs games. Heres hoping that the online aspect of mgs4 is going to be fun to play :)
