Going to do the same thing but alas I'm going to play community levels with some of my online buddies for kicks. Not that there isn't anything wrong playing with other people who are not on you're friend list.
Well I guess I could say I starting off gaming in a more tougher era I guess, oldschool Megaman, X-men, Castlevania, Contra, Battletoads, Spyhunter, Maximum Carnage, TMNT, Jurrasic Park, Donkey Kong, heck even old Mario was tough at times. But all these games hardly have the save features of games today. In my opinion that is what makes games of today a tad bit easier than before. It's more forgiving to a degree. It could be just me though. But think about getting into gaming years ag...
Nobody ever has jumped on top of a car and shot the car only for the driver to start driving all crazy while you were on top of the car shooting and chucking grenades as you go? It's hilarious. That and bringing a big bus to use as cover for a mission or to blockade the bad guys so they don't escape as easily. Or turning the turrent backwards on a tank and shooting it while hitting the gas to get crazy speed than bam going over a jump lmao good times.
Resistance series was more about scale than just being a graphic powerhouse imo. But it has been getting graphically better. I am not into Halo but wouldn't you 360 fans want to see Master Chief finally take his helmet off and reveal his identity?
RIP Team Silent and a hd remake of the first four SH games would be just awesome. Doubt it will happen though.
Nice a new Silent Hill game. Hope there is a whacky ending like with some of the previous SH games. And hopefully the score(soundtrack) to this SH game is good. I'm armed and ready to kill some moaning nurses and crazed mannequins. Let the horror begin.
This is going to be similar to Home but some what different as well. Home isn't all to bad, it's a lot better when you go in Home with some of your online buddies b/c you can bs easier. Some might like Avatar Kinect while others won't imo. Is it needed? Going from my experience with Home not really but a feature is a feature. It would be wise if Avatar Kinect is free though.
It's up to you to decide if you enjoy a game to movie adaptation, I enjoyed Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Max Payne and Prince of Persia movies. Even though Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat was over the top I didn't mind it. No movie will be exactly the same as a video game, that's the problem. Just go watch a movie based on a game knowing it will be different so therefore you won't be let down and enjoy it for what it is.
"I'm going for close combat, shotgun and desert eagle"
"Bring it on!!"
"I'll try for a quick hit-n-run"
"I need some back up here"
"Fire in the hole"
"Let's get back and watch the fireworks!"
When do gamers talk like this? Going to get this though, not a bad deal.
And why does that guy wear the headset upside down around :44 in the vid? Lmao.
Since I play PS1 titles I get from PSN for my PS3 I would like the ability to be able to access the XMB when playing a PS1 game(downloaded and disc based, same thing with PS2 games when playing them on PS3). That and a feature to be able to take a pic of what your PS3 is displaying at anytime whether it's during gameplay or in XMB. And a software of some sort that enable the PS3 to capture your gameplay via video that is saved to the harddrive regardless if the game supports it or not. ...
It's just not N4G, it's basically gaming websites everywhere, there will always be some stupid bs war going on about systems or retarted remarks. Than you get the misinformed folks lmao. Than you get people who post on more than one gaming site. I just say choose a few websites and stick with them really and don't let the comments bug/phase you. You have to be smarter than than. And I still remember that clock fiasco, glad the PS3 was able to fix itself, who would have though...
Seems like a pretty good controller to get if you have a 360.
As well as Blu Ray, at least it was one of the best players you can get in the beginning, not sure now though. And the PS3 can even tell if you popped in a 360 game. Wonder if it can do the same for Dreamcast or Xbox games. Doubt it can read the Dreamcast games, they were not DVD but rather something else.
"Imagine, if you will, a world you can play video games while seated"
Hmm I thought you could do this like 25 years ago? Strange to say something like this.
You can bet it probably will run smoother on the 360(console versions). Lmao sad when COD4 ran the same on both systems, you would think the newer COD games would be better but I guess not. To late for some to go back Treyarch. Got other games to play. I may not to a dent by not buying future COD games but hey, $60 bucks to go to something else that interests me.
You can also create your own background, icons and the sound and use it on your PS3's Xross Media Bar, it's a program you use with a computer. Haven't tried it really. It's funny to me but some people don't even know about the speech bubble you can activate using triangle on your avatar in the friends list, knew about that for a long time. And the PS3 will find cd info if you have internet so when you upload songs to your PS3 it makes it much easier so then you can liste...
Wrong, there will never be a real comparison, as of now. B/c Plus does not mandate you to be able to play online where as Gold does. If the only way you could play online for the PS3 was to be a Plus member than yeah it would be comparable otherwise how the hell you figure it's comparable? Just b/c you pay for those services does not make 'em the same.

Hilarious. Why the turn around all of a sudden. We should get Scully and Mulder on this, the truth is out there...... but I have an idea as to why.
Well gaming journalism needs to step it up as well. I mean information is spread through gaming sites and if they give out misinformation than what the hell is the point. And being biased does not help the matter, I don't care if you have a preference for a certain gaming platform but if that intervenes with your job than there is a problem. And gamers themselves should step it up and actually try to be more respectful towards other gamers but trolls will never go away it seems.
Just give what the gamers what they want if anything. But really just make a game enjoyable when it's all said and done, the most important thing of all. And releasing some old FF games in HD wouldn't hurt either.
