I'd say it's worth a buy more than a rent. It was worth 59.99$ the day it came out but now with it being a greatest hits title it's definitely worth buying it. Sure the gameplay might not seem interesting and seems more like an interactive movie but once you start playing it you forget about the gameplay and actually enjoy the game. Kind of like with Yakuza 1 for the PS2, I found the battle system to be a bit weird since you couldn't target an enemy and that was annoying me...

I just got a 500gb hard drive for my PS3 recently and I think not even that is enough. It really depends what you do. I like to store a lot of HD videos on it which takes up a lot of space. I mean yeah I can connect an external hard drive but I just don't like external devices taking up space.
Edit: Talking about HD videos, if only Sony would release an update that lets you play MKV format videos without converting them. I always have a hard time with mkv2vob.
