XP is great running games but honestly, if I wasn't planning on gaming I'd choose Vista all the way. I ran Norton and AVG the other day after me and my family surfed the net using Vista for 2 months and both programs found 0 viruses and 0 spyware!!! Too bad Vista sucks for gaming....

I own a Wii, 360 and a PS3 so it's not a huge deal to me. I can see why owners of a PS3 console only would be pissed off though.

They need to pull out all the stops in order to compete with Sony and Nintendo. A price drop and a RELIABLE 360 with BR drive would be awesome for sales.
I'd buy 1 as soon as it is available. I already have a PS3 and Wii. I would have a 360 by now if it was more reliable. I'm guessing the Blu-Ray model will also come with a 65nm CPU and GPU?
Oh well! Hope Dell doesn't hate on the folks that were smart/fast enough to purchase the bundle. If they do, I guess I'll just have to buy myself the 80GB MGS4 bundle after all.

I'd rather buy a 40GB PS3 for 399.99. the DS3 separately for 45 bucks, a 120GB hard drive for 50 bucks and MGS 4 for 60 bucks. Total = 554.99

Just like when the Falcon based 360's were released, it will be pretty difficult trying to land a Jasper based 360. Microsoft won't bother labeling the boxes to let consumers know that they're purchasing a Jasper based 360.
You can always buy a 360 Arcade console for 280 and a 120GB MS hard drive for 150 off of Amazon. That's 430 bucks for a white 360 Elite. Or you can always spend 100 bucks more on a 360 Elite and save about 50-70 bucks instead of buying the hard drive separate.
I love how Sony gave PS3 owners the option to upgrade to any laptop hard drive and slap it into the PS3 though. Wish MS did the same.

How all of those games are coming to PC. Soon PC gamers will get Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 eventually. No wonder some PC gamers won't bother buying a 360.
