for one it is cheaper than buying a gaming PC or continually upgrading to play new PC games IE $350+ for a dx10 video card to play Crysis....
There are also a lot of IPs that don't make it to the PC as well.

In the Beta I was mowing people down with guns more so than nades...
was awesome and after having halo 3 for a week...I am already sick of it. The game hasn't change much and the best weapon in H3 is beat down<WTF>.
November can't come soon enough. At least in COD4, the odds of dying by melee are way less than any other tool of destruction. The multiplayer also rewards the player in a great fashion. In H3 however, you can sit around and play social matches and get your rank up to general in a week.

I wasn't impressed and I thought the controls where clunky....i understand the point of the game is to be dark dismal horror game, but most of the time i found myself running around in circles trying to get to the next stage in the map.
Without any multiplayer, this game is mostly a rent.
I was so hoping for something regarding Ninja Gaiden 2.

@2- I think Hitman will suck..yea it looks like it has a lot of action but the problem with game adaptation has always been the plot and acting....even though I like Timothy Olyphant <see: deadwood>

they are shelling out some clams for the voice talent.....Powers Boothe will be an excellent villain since he has played the villain role so well so many times.
From the videos thus far, the game is shaping up to be a killer FPS.
Halo 3 didn't rock my socks off....it was better than Halo 2
