I have Super Mario Galaxy....its okay <I played and beat Mario 64>. After playing games like Bioshock, COD4, Halo 3, and Oblivion. The graphics real turn me off this game. The game is fun and interesting, but I think Nintendo really failed when they didn't boost their hardware like Sony and Microsoft.
I would still probably take Galaxy even though I had some much anticipation for AC.

I think gametrailers does an excellent job reviewing games, since they show most aspects of the game such as sound, gameplay, presentation, and story. I don't think I have seen one review by them that showed bias to a particular system or game. The video review of AC from IGN was very harsh, but they at least said their opinion and back it up with some reference point.

the thing that sucks for me is that I really wanted to buy this game, but from most reviews that I have read the game has virtually no replay value so I don't see how it can be worth 60 bucks. The weird thing is I thought I read a PREVIEW that said there was over 40 hours of gameplay including side missions.
Oh well....I guess I can rent it....
I agree and disagree with you...the main factor for me is how the game play is established. The Marvel world is vast and intriguing, but I think the game play could destroy an IP like this one. If they are canning the development possibly it could have been the story line and gameplay.
Hopefully a developer will step up and finish what should be a great game.
The way you describe Brawl is exactly what Melee was, but with extra characters from other genres of games. Don't get me wrong, I am ready to play the game, but I don't think it is going to do anything to wow audiences.
I might be proved wrong, but I just don't see it beating Fallout 3 or MGS4.
I have played Jade Empire and beat the game....it looks nothing like Mass Effect..The only comparison that can be drawn is that they are made by the same developer.
