The thing that separates you and Jaffe is that he is a gamer. He enjoys video games. To say the graphics are subpar for Gears 2 is asinine. He also said that he thought MGS4 had superb graphics.

I haven't played since this update, but the hard core socomers like it for the most part. I have logged more than 40 hours on Confrontation and still can't get into it. Personally with other shooters on the market, this one is very lacking. I wouldn't say it is worth 40 bucks and heck you probably could get it off ebay cheaper than that.

It would be nice to hear this from Sony's mouth than hearsay or a more reputable website. I still think Sony will try to get this out for Holiday '09, but I could be wrong.

Gears 2 MP sucks, but the story and gameplay were solid. I can't say the same of Fable 2 or R2 as in your post. The story for R2 was bland, but the MP was fun.
no kidding. worst ending in a game that could have been great.
The game failed to deliver for me. Although it was enjoyable some of the time, the game was way to easy.
