If I recall, 6 months before Halo 3 came out, the online beta looked like Halo 2 on Xbox. At least this doesn't look like it's last gen counterpart XD

I'll lay out the game for you. Tokyo is overrun by demons. Ancient wizard dude trys to take over world/revive some super monster. Military calls in ninja man. Ninja man fights demons. Ninja man wins. The end.
I never said they only make mech games. I said they're famous for mech games, their bread and butter so to speak. I personally wasn't a fan of otogi. The visual effects were good, but it was a game I'd played before. NG was dope, and I'm not the type that settles for cheap knockoffs. This game just looks like another NG, Shinobi, Nightshade...etc.
I'm willing to bet this game will have one of two outcomes: score less than NG or complete flop.
Since you're obviously got your fanboy goggles on, lemme explain this in xbox terms so you can understand. This is like Silicon Kngihts coming out and telling you they are gonna make a racing game. First, racing is not their genre. Second, they don't have the best track record.
I'm simply gonna assume you've never played a game made by fromsoftware. Almost all their games are in the 6-7 range. But you'll probably follow this game to the ends of the earth cuz it's on the 360(...
This game actually looks more like Shinobi from PS2. The trailer has some eerie similarities to the opening cutscene of Shinobi.
I guess they want their game library to look like the Wii's with handful of good games, and a sh1t ton of garbage.
Dude DMC is another generic action anime game where a dude fights demons. Shinobi, NG, and probably more have taken this route before. DMC may have tried to be hip by NOT making the main character a ninja, instead making him some sunshine cali half demon surfer, but it just makes him an annoying character to play as. At least ya can't hate ninjas. But you can hate Dante.

There's actually a good chance it will flop. As soon as I saw Fromsoftware, I knew to expect mediocrity at best. Ya know what fromsoftware is famous for? Mech games. Very, very average mech games (most recently Armored Core 4 and Chromehounds).
This is literally gonna be their first non-mech game. Couple that with the fact this looks like another game of ninjas vs. demons, I expect floppage.
