You my friend, are laughable....you got to remember a few things. For its time, which was several years ago, Half Life 2 looked very good in the graphics department. Also if you played one and continue on to two you see how things progress. The gameplay itself is a smooth, the change of scenery, the puzzles, it has many things to offer. I suggest playing it on PC with the Cinematic Mod 10. Its a difference.
get the demo on steam, it looks and plays better than the console counterpart...got a ps3 and thinking of getting it for PC, just to eff around doing things, lol
especially on pc, try it if you can over at steam...

but then again I never played the first one...runs very well on my 5750 though so i'm happy about that...
this demo is well worth the time! lol its a blast, now this game is definitely in my radar
best of all it plays well on midrange cards....i have a 5750 1GB and it runs perfect at 1900x1080 everything high except high res shadows and AAonly at x2 but even at that you can't see jaggies, I play with v-sync on and it never moves from 30fps and is always fluent...(it isnt a First person shooter so 60fps is really not necessary)...but its a fun demo man!

looking foward to see how my 5750 does with it, i was in the beta and maxed it out avg +- 45fps at 1900x1080....and i know the beta wasn't real max....

it would be ignorant to think that the PSN can't be hacked, any system can be hacked...just look at Google who not to long ago was hacked...in reality, no place is 100% safe
had to get out of it, would load slower on my system...also all my source games, TF2, Half Life 2,etc were running slower because of it...getting 10-20 fps in 1900x1080 everything max in beta as oppose to 60fps with v-sync on with the normal steam app..

its a fun multiplayer (the best part) at a bargain price, and should not be to big a load for the ps3 hard drives out there
