While playing both, and putting more than half of the games progression, I can say that both games deserve to be played and enjoyed. The saying goes is like apples and oranges, for me, infamous is a realistic detailed super-hero game that has to be thought out to play in open world structure, and prototype is just a pick up and slash and gore everyone gameplay, which I enjoy alottttt!!!!! So to those who battle which game is better, just decide for yourself of either renting them or buying ...
I agree with what you say. Hopefully they have a playable demo shown at e3 for Alan Wake. Every year they always bring a new announcement, so hopefully this year isn't different.
you have a point there, there is audience pop in and out as the camera goes around the ring, but it still just a demo, hopefully it can be fixed.
I bought littlebigplanet, great game, but lost the fun out of it and just trade it in for killzone 2. Don't get me wrong, Littlebig planet is great, but I lost the entertainment value after two weeks. I am going for Infamous because I love sand-box games and the ability to climb anything is awesome :)
I admire how sony can sold 20 mil and plus on a system without even that much marketing, commercials especially. I myself have a ps3, and I am still wondering why I don't see that much commercials for it, and see alot for xbox 360, oh well...
I know that this is not a legit game review site, but at least he is trying to do what he wants to do. Give the guy a break, how would you review games if you were trying to start out.
I had a 360 also too, no problems for almost a year and half, until updating to the NXE, and two to three months later, it gives me the dreaded e74 error. I called and was asked to pay 100 dollars for repairs, so I just called it quits, sold my games and stick with my ps3. I loved my 360, but until they come clean with their issues and lower the price down to what it is in terms of quality value, meaning around 150 dollars, I just have to sit on the bench with Microsoft.
I have never been a multiplayer person, just mostly got my first round of multiplayer games, through COD 4, and when I first played online in Killzone 2, to be honest, was so used to COD 4 controls. But as soon as you play a round or two, the default controls are great to use. LOVE THIS GAME!!!Just wanted to add my two cents from a multiplayer noob. :)
I myself want the sony brand and the ps3 do well, but as the main hurdle of there obstacle is the pricing of their product and the situation of many family are in with this recession. Like I said, this year has to be termed for sony, "make or break,." I myself have a ps3 and can't wait for future titles that will come out this year, but the dreaded price of this console and lack of marketing to the public is sinking it. The killer titles are comming, but for sony to stand, they m...
My title explains all
Agree with all of what you said. Not having sides yet, for the average consumer today, not next year or next six months, the consumer will decide for the holiday season, which console they would choose, and price point plays a big role. :)
Just seeing, reading and hearing the bad press for Sony is tough to make a decision on a multi-billion dollar company. The fact is, that the PS3 is expensive to make and develop for. Not helping the fact that the 360 is selling a console that is cheaper than the Wii, even though it is an rip-off in the end with all the add-ins that you want to really enjoy a gaming system. Not also helping that there once exclusive franchise selling games are now multi-platform and about more than three fo...
Like most of you, I do agree that I myself did get bored with Oblivion. It started off great, but I don't have the time to spend getting that much involve with the game, yet I really didn't enjoy the medieval theme of Oblivion. Yet, I am amped up of playing Fallout 3 because of the post apocalyptic setting, big fan of the setting. Even if I do get bored, or don't have time, at least I have one game that I can play for along time shooting huge crabs or mutants. :)
I plan on getting this as you say about the graphics, but which game for the system are you playing?
I have been waiting for this game for a long while. I can't wait to pick this one up and enjoy the deep story because I a big fan of WWII history.
It's nice to know that developers can fix problems that a majority of people have concerns about, but this and many issues should have been fixed thougth quality testing in the first place. I'll probably get this if is at really 29.99.
I know using cheats are for noobs, but I kind of miss the days in which you can enter cheats and have a blast just toying the game with different settings. Too bad there aren't many cheats for next-gen games now, but to read that a game like Star Wars: TFU, make's me smile in which I can unlock max force powers and be a badass.
The 360 is being outsold by everyone outside the US, but by doing this move of lowering there price under 200, they might be heading back on top. The reason that the Wii is so popular in my own opinion are two reasons: One is the gimick control and the price. For the Wii being around 250, that is an ideal price for the average family or lower class family. Mainly people who buy the truly next gen systems of the Ps3 and the 360, can afford it and are not on a tight budget, mainly gamers or ...
I have purchased and have been playing it for the PS3. It is not a mind blowing life changing game, but it is pretty fun. The game is basically a run and shooter with an open box setting. So far the game runs pretty well on the PS3 and no framerate issues at all. There are glitches, but there are no one glitch that damages the gameplay, and I could honestly believe that an update can fix it all. The game could honestly be a rental, but if you love to blow crap up, this is the game to get...
Agree, even though PSN is free, I would rather pay for better content, easier friend connectivity and a more visually friendly online play
