So, fans didn't buy the game. Whether it's because they didn't like the game, the hair, NT or Capcom, it's their right. They can spend or not spend their money however they like.
As for the rest of the people who didn't buy the game. Do you honestly believe they didn't buy it because of all the hate? The whole fuss probably did more good than bad, for it attracted the attention of more people, who wouldn't have care for it otherwise. However, it ali...
No one even remembers the hairdo anymore o.O People dislike the game for completely different reasons. The bad writing and characterization as well as the dumbed down combat are at the top of the list.
That's trolling, right? I mean, Donte being a better character, having better dynamic with Vorgil and the combat being better? That must be trolling xD
You say it like it's not a problem xD
That's exactly how I feel about the story and writing in this game. Great review, while it gives the game a good score, it's not afraid to point out the flaws in the narrative.
Does the fact that there are douchy sounding people out there mean that I should pay money to play a game that has one of them as the main character o.O
DMC (3 in particular), had fun characters, entertaining story and challenging gameplay. And it actually showed me that behind some of the character's (silly) exterior there are deep and genuine emotions. DmC tried something similar but failed in the execution. It felt like some chaotic mess that left me cringing. I don...

His origin is totally cliched and lame. His attitude is that of a teenager who thinks it's cool to be a douche to everyone and everything, which can only be cool to other such teenagers. Therefore only that demographic can relate to him... and the game is rated M for Mature. By the end he still has the same douchy attitude, while trying to do things that are not douchy... which c...
My first reaction was to call the article stupid, but I realized that would be reacting to what a lot of media has been doing with the same thing. I don't want to stoop to that level. I find it really insulting that some many journalists would go for what is pretty much name calling directed at the people who dislike the game. Is belittling and making fun of a group's opinion what passes for journalism these days? I can also see a tendency of ignoring the people who have given some go...

Completely missing the point? Check, check and check
What's missing from DmC is the challenging combat (now easy to the point of being patro...
