yeah i don't think thats whats gonna happen. The console space will always bet there because technology grows and your not gonna play vr through the internet. so hoping it fails is dumb. it grows the industry , especially when you can play from any device. playstation now doesn't have to be the biggest success, but think of it like this if the did decide to go console less. then another company will make one and hardware always will run beffer than streamed software.
build the next console together and allow for another company to invade the game space since their are mnay. that way companies can focus on the profits games. and then people can use either controller and everyone plays with everyone. and the console sales will be over 250 million. win for everyone, still keep exclusives, better hardware, better service. no problems with drm, not problems with games trading. no multiple periphials, and kinect plu morpheus and move . .....Never gonna happen ...
