Spiderman has been making great use of the qte mechanic. I really dont see what all the fuss about is everytime a game decides to use qte's . as long as the game isn't abusing the mechanic and it doesnt feel out of place i dont see how its a bad thing. Its obviously not possbile to do some of those actions manually so thats why they implement the qte to begin with. Spiderman has a cinematic look to it and its not a bad thing at all.
Its an over saturated gaming industry . they pump out titles knowing this is the case that we will move onto the next game. thats how they make $$. I also think when i was growing up and i didnt have the $$ to buy games so i would focus on what i had and I appreciated that. I played for fun instead of trophies not to mention there were tons of unlockables back then prior to the introduction of dlc and season passes. They just dont make games how they used to. Its a double edged sword now
Yeah this is why mvc along with other fighters should have never went 3d like this. it should have been done like ggxrd or the dbfighters where it looks 2d but the camera shifts at certain moments like aerial launch and specials to show that they are still using 3d models. They ditched the anime capcom style and went for a realistic look which is quite frankly disturbing. Instead of cool capcom take on it it feels like these characters were designed by marvel *cringe*
