Kinect makes Microsoft an insane amount of money while Sony is losing money and has to close down more studios every year (Liverpool, Lightbox, Zipper, etc..).
Microsoft uses that money to secure exclusive content early for its users for nearly every big game.

Gran Turismo is a bona fide system seller. Couple that with the fact that the PS4 isn't backwards compatible means people have no reason to own a PS4. The Killzone series is mediocore at best and doesn't come close to the sales numbers of Halo, Gears, Fable, or any other big Microsoft exclusive.
GT5 also ran like crap. The limited RAM made the menus lag. They won't be able to take advantage of the 8GB of RAM in the PS4....

After having played 5 God of War games, this series is just tired and boring. You can only turn the dial to 11 so many times before it becomes normal.

A big reason are the controllers. Aside from the NES & SNES, Nintendo makes awful controllers for their consoles.

Shooting in FPS games needs to be done with the new triggers or at least give you the option to remap. A lot of shooters today still don't give you the option to choose.

Do you have any idea how big of a war chest Nintendo built up last generation? Unlike Sony & Microsoft, they sold every console at a profit.
That combined with the mind-numbing sales from their shovelware games means that Nintendo could completely bomb this gen and still have plenty left in the tank for another console.
