This is, hands down, the most awesome-looking game ever made; It's like a sci-fi novel come to life, or like a Star Wars film you participate in.
Mass Effect cements the Xbox 360 as THE console for the next generation....add in Gears of War, Halo 3, Bioshock, Viva Pinata, Forza 2, Splinter Cell:DA, Fable 2, GTA 4--the only place to play ALL of these AAA titles in one place is the 360.
There has never been a line-up like that in gaming history.
Screw em. A %60 attach rate is an incredible accomplishment. The reason it's so high is, GASP!, Live is a GREAT service. It's easily worth $50 a year.
Flaming isn't neccesary, anymore. Its all about the games, and well, this speaks louder than anything.

Well, I just finished watching footage of probably the single best looking game ever created(Mass Effect), and its going to fit on one 9GB disc, have over 40+ hours of gameplay, and will only available on Xbox360.
End of story.
You have a starship, called the Normandy, but It didn't show actual flying of the ship; just a docking scene.
It did showed like this 3D, hologhraphic starmap, and then picked through galaxies, then systems, and finally planets.
It picked this one, mars-like planet, and the next scene showed your Lander vehicle, riding on the planet's surface; it looked alot like that big, eight-wheeled troop carrier from the Wookie scene in Ep.III, but smaller.
Its basically the E3 Demo that was shown behind closed doors. about 5:00 mins long. Its shows the innovative conversation system, and its spectacular!
Like being in a Star Wars film, but with GOOD dialogue,lol. They go on to show all the different worlds and star systems you can go to; there's a VERY cool map/menu thats shows all the planets in orbits around their stars....again, just spectacular.
Finally, they show the combat system; its enitrely Real-Time, an...

believe me, its worth it. BIA should've gotten ALOT more atttention at E3. It got overshadowed by Gears, MGS4, H3, etc. Those are gonna be Blockbusters, but so will this; I mean, it doesn't even look like a game, if that makes any sense...it looks f'ing R E A L
