Really twisted the cap off the bottle, thats for sure.
Ball? Park? What nonsnese is he on about?
"Xbox, find me a bicycle built for two."
Cuz its a new ps4 :). You saw how giddy he was!
I thought about this also, but my best guess was they wanted, for the time being, to focus what IS in the box not what isnt.
But looks pretty snappy, I have been wanting some formal video on the camera functionality as well.
Yeah but the Wii had like, a calculator for a videocard and a digital watch for the rest of the internals powering its games...
Calculators and digi-watches hardly ever fail, so it doesn't count.
The more pertinent question is not "what happens if you lose connection," as the same issues would result if you had a game that REQUIRES a connection for DRM concerns or is streaming like Onlive, you'd lose ability to play, but that's not as big an issue as it sounds.
Hell, even your multiplayer-only games would be unplayable, but people play those just fine.
The REAL question is the latency, the types of computations you mention simply can...
The Cloud processing should be so obviously limited, people just need to look at how much difference it makes having even tiny increases in the distance (talking microchip scale stuff) between all the various components on a board, all the information being passed back and forth and how that has a bearing on just how quickly a given series of tasks may be completed.
And people somehow expect THAT same kind of function to be feasibly handled quickly enough to matter by sending...
Wha?! You have an old PSP maybe? Even those versions were fun.
They were pretty much like Battlefield already, except set in a Star Wars universe, so it's actually a pretty natural undertaking for them I'd imagine.
If you love Star Wars and Battlefield, there should be SOMETHING for you to sink your teeth into, or feet for that matter!
Wait a sec... you didn't mean "feet" did you...?
I think I have become HD-sensitized, I almost can't even LOOK at that blurry old footage and can barely comprehend how all did once upon a time!
You think seeing LIFE in HD everyday would have done that, but I guess being young, our imaginations did a fair amount of the "processing" to make the games SEEM more spectacular visually than they were. :)
A lot of star wars... thank goodness Battlefront 3 is in the hands of DICE.
This...

CG full body scan of kojima as an alternate skin in metal gear.
Read previous article, it was just something they didnt catch before they made it to retail, an oversight, nothing more.
They arent fixing the game, just changing an internal setting, switch.
Like on a pc where u can alter resolution settings, flipping a switch.
Agree excitement dwindled, but doesnt change how good all the initial announcements were. Games are responsible for brining the excitement from launch onward and yeah we do have a slim selection mostly sequels, so, when the really original and new IPs come then we can get excited again.
What do you mean? You were wondering about the game being 1080p by your statement correct? Article indicates it always has been and that a configuration setting issue resulted in this predicament.
Jeez who disagrees?
It is, read the entire article.
Ah, so it was just an error that made it onto disc without being addressed first.
Game is 1080p across all modes.
Were you born this way?
Microsoft reps themselves could come out and say, "Listen, TheXD305, PS4 is just more of a machine than the X1 okay, so quiet down now, you're starting to embarrass us," and he'd still be going on and on and on...
HELL the opposite could happen, magic clouds could whisk the X1 off into future graphics the likes of which no PC, console, or NSA super computer could ever hope to achieve and he'd STILLLLL be here getting off on whatever it is that drives hi...
