I spend that on eggrolls every year....
I really didnt care for this on PC, any changes specific to PS4 or something? Is it just because its free and people want a game to play?
I would have preferred more powers from the dark sector origin game. Even though that game was lack luster, the dismemberment was fun.
I say firstly, if they are quality ports and in demand, no harm no foul.
Two, I would MAYBE start considering this 18 months post-launch, right now we are crossing a bridge into this gen, the majority of people are still on last-gen hardware. So if many, like me, sold off their PS3, then if there were no ports of great games still releasing or released on PS3, now we have an opportunity to play those games, but hopefully with improved/added features. What's wrong with tha...
Indeed, very surprised when THIS minor (minor in terms of implementation) wasn't included at launch!
Like a VCR or DVD player shipping without pause, rewind, fast forward buttons... so weird. I mean... you sorta can pause stuff by disconnecting from the internet and then it resumes, but I swear, just last night I kept disconnecting from BF4 for some odd reason and when I gave up and went to home screen I noticed a CoD update downloading in the background... was it trying ...
I want one that connects to the back of my neck like the mateix, no less than six inch needle connector or i am out.
There's supposed to be a "natural law" imbedded in all of us, which says to us, "don't buy the next thing they sell until reviews and videos illustrate it is near perfect before launch," but unfortunately too many, as with CoD, keep buying either crappy games or broken games regardless so the devs never feel the pressure as much. Otherwise I guarantee it wouldn't have taken this many months for them to "fix/invest more" into the servers...
Same with (to an extent) BF4 without private server option yet. Loved playing my favorite maps for like hour or so at a time.
And CoD, for all its gripes, is long over due for an overhaul in that area as well, among other things that hopefully these new 3 year cycle iterations will correct.
Well-constructed and mature response :)
People tend to take things so negatively and personally round here
@Septic :) chilaxify yoself friend
Think some people might not like the game, similar to the way you DO like it.
Wild theory I know, but there you go
And actually you may have answered your own "statement" so to speak, I know you probably didn't intend it as your ENTIRE reason for liking it, but it is a valid point that one of the reasons it has allure is because BF4 has so many problems and CoD Ghosts was just pathetic, ergo this game has what I will henceforth refer to as "...
True, in certain cases though, it is justified, or at least "safe." Kojima has, in my lifetime, never worked on a game that released that wasn't of a high caliber.
Yep, still not getting premium until things look like they may STAY fixed. Battlefront WILL be my weakness I'm afraid.. we have all been in a Star Wars drought for so long...
Same here and that was on PS3.
I TRULY think this is the work of EA going cheap somehow server-side and I know JACK about how all that works, but I DO know that somehow, "magically" after the launch of games like this and companies only THEN increase the number of servers all the problems tend to go away... hmmm I wonder why... maybe don't be cheap greedy a$$es and pay for MORE than enough servers from the get go!
I think much of this had to do with distance from servers and such, geographically/regionally. Even WITHIN regions a person (thousands potentially) are much farther away than others. Makes a big difference, not to mention if there were many other issues involved, coding, "cheap"/too few overburdened servers...
Point is, yes SOME will play care free, but many others are screwed. Same with any product, if YOU end up being the one screwed YOU wouldn't sit idly by a...
Finally, hated that dude... ripped off my entire story idea and conceptual artwork for "Shiitake: Attack of the Mushroom People," and the sequel "Shiitake: The Fungus Amonge Us" which introduces his faithful companion Soysoss.
Tried to work it into a trilogy, but then I heard about The Last of Us and gave up...
Silly game model... missed opportunity here big time
Go watch FLCL, some stories... just don't have to and this also applies to video games. But games and the developers which obviously take them seriously, not to mention the gamers who play them, should make sense to an extent if they hope TO actually be taken seriously.
Suspension of disbelief can only be taken so far before you just end up saying "ah fuc! it."
I'm fairly certain every dime of those sales were profit though... I mean the game is essentially just using assets from what's to be in the Phantom pain, right down to animations. So if they sold one copy, = profit.
They are going to recycle it all back into the FULL game and more.
Anyway, I bought it and played it more than any other game I have bought this gen except for Black Flag (and not counting multiplayer games). Only on 23 percent completion...
As much as I love God of War... I want them to put a crack team together and create something new with just as much character and love as was put into creating the God of Wars series to begin with.
Something new
God, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem... THAT I'd love to see again, or something unique like it.
Since I'd mostly only be interested in the last two, they'd would have to do more than an "enhanced visuals" mod to it, like update the old one and second one to fall in line with the third installment, control scheme-wise. Weapons... almost a pseudo remake...
Check update history on your game, it may have already been added
