I ACTUALLY OWN the game and did not notice any difference in quality and graphics of the game, the game still looks as good as always.
Maybe it's just my TV but I didn't recognize any resolution bump. The game still looks the same to me.

When talking 900p upscaled to 1080p vs. 1080p native....no it doesn't matter. In fact I guarantee if, they didn't mention a difference, you wouldn't realize there was one. So in essence, you are complaining over nothing.

Question: Why is 1080p the standard right now when NATIVE 720p wasn't even the standard last gen? I feel like the upscaler chips are doing very well right now and I would rather devs focus on the actual graphics textures and game play. Rather than a magical number in resolution, which as turned more into a marketing term rather than something that has any significants or substance.

Don't bother trying to make sense to these guys. One thing that I have learned, being somewhat new to this "gaming community" is that you cannot be an honest neutral gamer, and or prefer ANYTHING xbox does over the PS4, especially on this site. You are either an xbot or not, in their eyes.

No a game that runs at a higher resolution just simply has a higher pixel count on the screen, but does not make the game itself better or worse.
On top of that the pixel count is something that most of the world would not even notice with the naked eye (800p, 900p 1080p). Don't give me that bs "I can tell excuse" either, because if people could TRULY tell they wouldn't need to wait on official resolution specs from digital foundry to prove a ...

People don't get it, and I wonder how long many of these "journalist" have been gaming. You are right, INITIALLY the differences have always been incremental, except for 4th to 5th generation, before and after that there was always a small leap at first then over time the games became more of what we expect.
Lol at disagrees...xbox one updates happen on the fly now without having to shut down anything.
The 360 used to go down every once in a while for maintenance, but with the new servers, there is no need to go down for maintenance.

EXACYLY...now I am not gonna sit here and say that the game is 720p but it is not true 1080p just like MS upscaler chip does with games that are not 1080p native.

Of course they will keep coming...they also kept coming last gen, just not a frequent and not as big.
Again, I am not saying that they will stop updating, but the updates will definitely tone down after this year. They are adding things that should have already been on the system to begin with.
AGAIN....they will continue to update the console throughout the year, but mark my words...the updates will either not be every month OR be very small up...

Next year the updates won't be as frequent. The xbox was supposed to come out this year around this time, so the updates in line with the release. We will still get updates but not as frequently.

My point exactly! I wouldn't be shocked that the people who are commenting on the resolution of this game dont even own it, they are just judging how the game looks based on what they are hearing or being shown over the internet. The game is and has always looked great and clear.
This whole resolution thing is completely blown out of proportion by fanboys, and I noticed this as soon as I turned on my PS4 and XB1 in November of last year.
