Microsoft doesn't need Japan. Microsoft can do extremely well, even if it only had America. We have over 300 million people in this country alone. We will have Europe as well, add another 700 million, for a grand total of 1 billion people. Japan only has 130 million. When you consider their numbers, Japanese pride/bias, dwindling global software development importance, they really don't matter on any grand scale.

@Smokey: Not so smokey, and I'll tell you why. I have friends (I know, its hard to believe) at work who never owned an Xbox 1. Many of them ONLY owned a ps2. They never had a chance to play Halo before. They don't know what its about, but with all the hype, they are very interested in it now. ALL of them now own 360s.

What's funny about this "PS3 article" is they claim FPS shooters are better on the PS3, yet the PS3 only has 3 FPS, Rfom, fear, cod3. Of those 3 games, only 1 is exclusive to the PS3 (and ONLY because its made by SONY) and the other 2 got better scores on the 360. If EA did indeed make that comment, I wouldn't look up to them for anything innovating or exclusive. In fact they are the very last developer, I would look to.
