I love all those games, including..Octopath Traveler, Bravely Default, Metroid, Bayonetta, Pokémon, Xenoblade Chronicles, The World Ends With You, Astral Chain, and many graphic novel games. Sony has great franchises as well, and I do own all 3 consoles, but in my opinion Nintendo doesn’t need to anything to its hardware, all it needs to do is keep creating great games.
...And yet Nintendo is out selling the competition in both hardware and software numbers. Switch is my favorite system this generation because it offers a great verity of games, from E to Mature rated.

Trust me, I have been looking. Between the scalpers and the microprocessor shortages, it’s unknown if many will be able to even get a system this year! (2021)
The “disagrees” can hate all they want, but truth is truth. Low install base will result in low sales. Just because scalpers are obtaining systems, they won’t buy the games to support the hardware.

With low amounts of a system install base, I’m sure releasing platform exclusive games will be very profitable. I’ll wait until I have an actual PS5, and by that time it will probably be dirt cheap because of low sales.
I don’t think Sony is going to “lose all support” because they chose to censor a niche genre of games. What I’m saying is I’m an adult, and I have options, and I chose to support companies that don’t support censorship.
I like to play ALL types of games, including the visual novels that are being censored, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. If Sony wants to be “Woke”, then I will just continue to buy my games from PlayAsia, for the Nintendo Switch....period.
My money, My choice.

CDPR should of just made the game next gen platforms and PC only.
Delay it (again) if it needed more time, or just cancel it altogether.
I preordered my copy because I believed in the quality of CDPR games. Similar to Rockstar and Nintendo and Sony first party games.

Cost is a factor, software is a factor, exclusive content is a factor, censorship is a factor, portability is a factor. Everything is a factor...but the only factors that matter to manufacturers publishers and developers are sales.
Cost is the other systems problem, not Nintendo’s.
