All it means is that I wont "HAVE TO" buy a ps3 in order to play FF13.

If you really want developers to focus on single platforms, you need to support those that are trying to do just that! Go buy MGS4, even if you don't like the series. It was well reviewed, praised in forums all over the world.
I am so happy FF13 is now coming to the XBOXRPG60, I plan on pre-ordering and then BUYING EVERY Square-Enix game that's timed exclusive or simultaneously released with the ps3 for the XBOXRPG60!

Perhaps you are unaware, therefore I will be kind and assume you are uninformed. Blank Blu-ray disks and DVD media do not cost the same. I can buy a stack of 100 blank DVD's for $25. On the other hand 1 blank blu-ray disk will cost you about same price.

In-Game Engine Models can be used to illustrate a storyline in a game, and would use ALOT less disk space. CGI looks great, and if they want to use multiple disks, I have no problem with that.

I posted this very same question about 18 months ago on Xbox.com forums and my thread was locked, then deleted. I really don't mind paying for the service, but the ads are intrusive, especially when they want me to pay for a custom theme. I can't even see the entire theme because of the big splash ads. This is one case I cannot defend M$. Instead, I do not buy themes anymore:(
