And rift/vive are useless if you don't own pc. Psvr is still the most accessible vr option at the moment. It still cheaper to buy PS4 and psvr together than to buy a pc with any of the other headsets including the new ms one. And since when did ms release any games that support rift/vive. Think zero at the last count. Currently ms doesn't have any vr solution let alone rift/vive.
Guess this wont be available on xbone either then. Not powerful enough lol.
Good old ms bandwagon jumping again lol. Also VR is not currently out of the reach of the masses with psvr, what a crock.
Imalwaysright wrong as usual.
And thats why if they do end up winning the us eventually thats all they will care about.
@rain, agreed. After all the crap from the xbox fans about how power doesn't matter and then all of a sudden it does. Just like sales don't matter until they do.
Its only a default measure when it matters just like everything else.
@Boss, actually I have played titanfall. I even have a gamertag, UrbanxF0Xxx. Check my achievements if you don't believe me. So yes I've played both and 2 seems pretty good to me. The first one was ok but I would have preferred it to have a single player campaign.
@welly, true to a point. Still a lot of xbox fans p1ssed as well though.
Been playing this. I love Rez anyway, vr takes it to a whole new level of awesomeness.
11/10 for me.
@Dash, so true. You can't imagine it till you try it. The immersion is amazing. Have you tried Thumper? That too is fantastic.
The lack of a uhd drive won't make a bean of difference tbh.
Hmmm, PS4 is kicking ass, psvr has pretty much sold out and the Pro is top of the pre-order charts yet they're 'doing it wrong' according to 'some analyst'.
Sigh.
@lastking, PS4 was $399 at launch.
@samm, still crying, still salty lol.
@JackB, you're in for a real treat Friday. Rez is an absolute must buy, its fantastic, also Thumper is really cool as well. Have fun.
This is the first review I've read that complains of this 'issue'. No other review has even mentioned such a problem? Even Jim Sterling playing Until Dawn never once said there was an issue. Tbh I've watched a lot of videos of people playing psvr and nada. I have yet to get the move controllers so only used the DS4 so far so I'll have to wait to see for myself. The head tracking is fantastic, strange it would be so shonky for the move controllers.
Hmmm,...
It gave me motion sickness at first, with Driveclub I'm fine. Gonna give it another go when I have acclimatized more as it was fantastic till I had to stop.
Thought ms said it was too gimmicky lol. No way they could make it as good as psvr at that price anyhow.
This is just the beginning and its already awesome. Played Rez last for the first time, mind blown. The immersion is fantastic.
Just wait till they really get to grips with it...
Good times.
How many more of these stupid articles, sigh. Who on n4g of all places is this aimed at?
Lol
I understand that. Its just that the article is implying that is THE ONLY option for accessible vr, as if psvr ISN'T. Most people don't own a gaming rig. Most pc's wouldn't be able to run this. Vis a vis most people would have to buy a machine that was able to run it. Yes its great if you already have a gaming rig. But if you don't maybe not so great.
At the moment psvr is still the most accessible vr option available.
