it looks great, no doubt about that. but my first feeling was that it isn't as fast-paced and full of action as CoD4.. maybe it's just the levels they shown. i dunno. looked a bit too easy in my opinion.
and i agree with spandexxking below that those bazooka missiles hit the tank too soon. no missile travel. when the guy was aiming i thought to myself "man, aim ahead, the tank is moving".. but there was baam - explosion right after he pulled the trigger.

Whenever I see that there's an update I'm happy. Cuz they either added some new stuff or fixed some bugs (that I probably wasn't aware of anyway). And it's not that often that it would be some kind of inconvenience to downolad and install. So don't moan over nothing.. Patches and uptades are a GOOD thing. "Get it right the first time".. Ok so they didn't. You can NEVER be sure you did everything right, especially if it's with something that h...

I've been playing it all weekend and it is just great! Love it!
And mind you that I've been playing Civs since the 1st one (still playing Civ4:BtS). All those of you who played Civ on PC - don't even play first two difficulty levels. Finished Chieftain in 2,5 hours and Warlord in 4h. King is where the fun starts (almost done after 6h) and I will definetely enjoy the last two :).

That is a great comparison. South Park jokes about EVERYTHING they want (and I love that about SP). How come Rockstar can't? Both are for adults.
Stories by The Sun are the worst crap you could imagine, like someone explained above. Making horror or sensation out of nothing in most cases, no matter about what. The best action is to ignore that.
I wouldn't say it's better than CoD4.
It's a bit different idea. Both are great fun but CoD4 is, after all, about how well you aim. BF is more than that. It has more tactics involved and the game is more focused on all that "battlefield experience" rather than smooth and accurate controls. In fact, I don't quite like the FOV (field of view) when you're on foot. Feels too close (but didn't stop me from playing 4 hours last night :). Plus you have to take "visuals&qu...
I remember playing Warhawk in its early days and the same issue was there. Some teenage idiots swearing at people with their girly voices and calling them the worst names. Dunno if that was resolved somehow cuz haven't played it in a long time.
But here's an idea. It's just general, off the top of my head and not flawless. But I just can't agree with the author that nothing can be done with that issue. Bigger problems were solved.

Gotta admit it's super fast!! Now I can see how other browsers "slow down" my broadband. Chrome uses the speed to the max! Even big portals which usually load in 1-3 seconds, on Chrome they just appear right away.
In task manager you can see that Chrome uses much less memory than Firefox.
