It'll spin you from normal to some weird metrosexual creature that can barely call itself human anymore.

Game's need good gameplay, fuck the stories, fuck graphics, resolution and frame rate. Go watch a movie.
I found this article to be kind of, well dumb. Yes Destiny is technically an MMO(FPS), so why are you comparing it to MMORPG's? Destiny has rpg elements yet, it is created as mainly an online small co-op game as the likes of warframe. Completely different games while all being mmo's.
Secondly, complaining about the first and easiest strike in the game for being too easy to figure out and repetitive? Sure, yes! I agree. It's to give you an idea of how much hits a b...
No quick time scenes on bosses... I'd rather kill them then play dance dance revolution with the controller.
There's sharks that are non interactive (because of animal rights groups) in the water, but it's a normal shark not a megalodon.
If you're gonna try and call me out on something why not post the entire quote? Literally the sentence before that "At the end of the day it is my opinion, I'm not asking anyone to agree with me." I never stated disagreeing with me would make you a fanboy at all, I simply implied it was my opinion. And to point out real flaws I see within a game while I'm commenting on it to me seems logical. If someone said something bad about a game I enjoy I wouldn't shoot it down...
Another stupid article, it's not cool to hate on it fanboys of consoles and brands are brainlessly loyal. If they wore fireproof branded pants the loved and they were on fire, they'd deny it and burn to death.
And on another note I disliked TLOU and wrote a tiny review in a comment on n4g 232 days ago. I still haven't changed my mind and think the exact same of it.

As a child I did, so why wouldn't other kids? And the game itself isn't teaching them anything it's showing them possibilities its up to the parents to teach. Even children know that a game is just a game, racism exists and the torture scene would be the only part in the entire game that probably isn't good for kids. And we know its just satire, that's why its idiotic to blame games for things or to restrict its content.
I don't see any issue with GTA V and kids playing it, the real world is an even worse place then that. Shielding them and only teaching them happy things with dreams and fluffy clouds can make unrealistic to how they approach their own life. It can make people gullible and give them a false perception that everything is good. Though horror games that are to do nothing but terror on the other hand are probably not so good.
As a parent you're not meant to shield them...
Technically most of what you said isn't "new" it's always been in battlefield. It might be a huge leap for console gamers but for PC it isn't much different nor a huge leap in new features. Still looking forward to BF4 more then most other next gen games though.
If Microsoft had come up with better policies when they announced the Xbox One, they'd realize the vast majority of people that buy consoles are gamers. That is their main market and they already had a fanbase coming into this generation. DRM was a bad move clearly, and they've rectified that. Allowing indie games to publish their own content was another big issue. I feel some of the best games of late have been mostly indie, they have a different feeling what games 'used to be...
Game shops make money from used games, not the developers.
There's still the option to buy physical content also, as there is on PC. SO you're saying no gamer on earth wants to go digital? most of us do to some degree and if the right guidelines are in place and prices are lowered for digital content it makes sense to go more digital and only have procedures for the digital content.
As a gamer I think we do want DRM, we just don't want the excessively bad requirements, such as having to log on every 24 hours or your console is a brick. Also cheaper digital content as to the likes of steam, considering there's no more manufacturing costs of physical content. There could be a online check on an install of a game or other processes that could be used instead of a 24 hour check-in. There's many other solutions to an easy problem.
You bring up good points though you dont 'HAVE' to use mouse and keyboard. Most games you can plug in a controller and use it just fine. I play on a gaming rig PS3 and xbox 360, excited for next gen games to increase the graphics and better game engines finally.
Even on the original xbox/PS2 era (I think) a game called "Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure" was banned in Australia. The reason behind the banning was because it had acts of "graffiti" in it.
As an Australian I highly agree not just with this article but with our politics lack of knowledge on all entertainment areas. Spartacus Blood and sand (TV Series), was highly edited, cut sex scenes all the CG blood removed so it could appear on normal free TV. The problem with the government rating this content is that they aren't giving consumers choice even though all the rating laws are in place to do so. They could argue that children could get R18+ games and be influenced by them, t...
Battlefield unlike COD/Assassins Creed etc. isn't released annually.
You weren't forced to buy nor play COD, the blame can't be on them... Only yourself.
If you've opened a lootbox you know what's in them. If you intend to be playing the game long enough to put the skins to use, you'll unlock or buy them with ingame currency. There is no reason to buy lootbox's other than the "I want it now" mentality.
