not that xbox's sales will be stronger than ps4's early on, but I believe that the majority of xbox's success will be earlier in the life cycle, just like last gen. Titanfall will keep xbone relevant and some other goodies too. but, like last gen, the xbox exclusives will eventually come to ps4, while ps studios like naughty dog continue to make quality games. Ps4 has impressed me because Sony has beaten microsoft in the sprint, and they've always been running a marathon
Sad, DICE lost a lot of respect with their BF4 release. So much potential wasted. I wouldn't be surprised if the corporate heads at EA are to blame for rushing the game.
easily should become a standard for the industry
I agree, 2k made practically two different games between current gen and next gen for NBA 2k14. Granted it's a sports game, but racing games today have no where near the substance of the old NFS and the old midnight clubs.
it's a playstation store ad.....which actually makes sense. If PSN has a new deal, one that benefits the consumers, it makes sense that it's shown in the "What's New" section
a lot of reasons aren't that substantial.
1. I do believe that Xbox has the better software, and it's tv functionality is cool. unfortunately it comes at the sacrifice of game quality, which doesnt work for me.
2. Titanfall is the only worthwhile exclusive, but its sequels will come to ps4, and microsoft will stop releasing exclusives as they have previously done.
3. many first hand accounts have stated that the xbox controller feels worse than the ...
I'm wondering if IW would've made Ghosts more equal on both consoles if Microsoft didn't strike a deal with EA for BF4. Food for thought...
sony's ad campaign seems to be spot-on. another winner.
definitely not. current gen came out before the iphone. social media and app support will turn next gen systems into much more of a hub for its users. i expect them to destroy past sales. expecially when the ps4 is cheaper than many tablets, and it can do so much more
kind of strange. some of the names seem wrong at least. DICE has never really named maps with just one word, thats more of a COD thing. still excites me nonetheless, BF4 is my top shooter on next gen so far
looks like a game changer. no pun intended
interesting. i thought it was taller than it was wide. guess not
one thing Penello doesnt talk about is the amount of ESRAM. he states that it has a higher bandwidth than GDDR5 but what he doesnt say is that xbox has 8gb of 68gb/sec and 32 mb of 204 gb/sec. ps4 has 8gb of 176gbps. im no computer wiz but doesnt that make a world of difference?
if this is true they'll clearly bring it to next-gen. so many people would buy the game again. open world games are set to show the most improvement next gen
I'm not buying it. why would ps4 need more ram for the OS than the XB1? the whole reason for XB1's allocation is that it runs tv, music, movies, etc. in the background. they said ps4 is a games console, and considering the ps3 OS ran off 64mb in the background, i think 1gb for ps4 should be plenty
having a game utilize the 7gb gddr5 ram is one thing, finding all of mark cerny's secrets is another. "...easy to learn, difficult to master."
I'm hoping I'm able to change my psn username. thats something thats surprisingly unnoticed
funny how the article next to this one is microsoft saying that ps4 won't change any decisions they've made
The Wii U will never sell. people liked the original Wii controller because you could swing it and a cartoon would swing a golf club on your television. it appealed to older people and young kids, which is why it sold so well. both of those demographics would have a difficult time playing a game with a screen on the controller. If the rumors on the 720 are true, I think they'll have a difficult time selling as well. Most people I know purchase video game consoles to play games, not to hav...
So Advanced Warfare really is just stealing from Titanfall and Battlefield? I'm sure EA is flattered
