Dude you realize the reason why they won't release zelda on sony consoles is right in your comment?
=> You say yourself that you'd buy the NX anyway to play Zelda, so what's the point for them to make only 30$ worth of profit or so, if they can sell you the whole hardware by the way (which will probably lead to to buy at least a few other games just for the sake of making it worth)?

I can't agree with that, it went waaay too old and can't stand 5min comparison with the immersion you can get from TWW, MM or TP. Can't wait for Breath of the Wild (BoW?) =)
No offense to retro-gaming, some games aged wonderfully but I honestly got bored replaying the first Zelda after 5 or 6 dungeons (and I basically played all the Zelda games, at least the "official" ones)
Let's add Bayonetta 2 to your shorlist of games pushing the wii U, but you're still right on this point.
However, they obviously don't have choice but to build a new console with some extra power to reach (and maybe surpass) concurrence, and finally get the godamn 3rd party support they need to attract "core gamers", since they most probably won't get back the "casual gamer" market they had with the wii.

Nobody killed Nintendo, because Nintendo is far from being dead. In fact they could fail three other console generations and still be there, they've got cash, and a lot of it, and as far as we know there handheld market is selling so well that it's not gonna end anytime soon =)
And it's pretty good news for gamers, by the way.
Well, at least this could explain why we didn't hear of this game at Nintendo's E3. Better not showing anything than showing this and getting an even bigger load of hatred =/

It is advertisement for capcom though, so I don't see Nintendo paying millions for the character.
Then again 20€ is 33% of the game's price, the whole DLC proposed is clearly not 33% of the game's size, not even close to 10% :(

that's basic mathematics, they didn't spend 10% of the whole time and energy it took to make the game only on this specific character so there is no reason it should cost more than 1 or 2€ - which might be already too much for some people. Then paying for costumes for your mii f...
I own a wii U (and no other home/handheld console of this gen) and yet I believe that right now the DLC proposed for smash is crap, not in terms of content (ryu seems exciting and a lot of fun, along with his map and the musics - I don't really care for costumes and the two other clone characters) but in terms of price!
It is the exact opposite of MK8, offering a great load of content for a decent price, here we got one guy (which is 2 or 3% max of the total content) prop...

You're forgetting wii's massive success, not to mention the handheld's market. This is more about cycles, with good chances that wii owners didn't pay attention to wii U but might be interested by the "NX" (for example). True though that sony dominated with PS1, PS2 and now PS4
From a sh*ty pick to the sh*tiest, one might say. Mother is anecdotic outside japan, ridley fits very well the boss in a metroid stage and doesn't need more than that. I didn't feel the hurge at all to talk with teammates : you basically see everything there is to see on the map, and tactics in this game depend essentially on the weapon you picked (and possibly your skills).
